Took me awhile to research what the best-built rack in this price range was. Pleased to say that this rack arrived and box packaging was very protective. Came with 4, 4-inch, heavy blue casters and all the bolts needed to mount them, plus extras. Very easy to bolt on the casters, holes are done for you and everything. The rack is robust and very well built. Even though it's not a shock mount case, it's pretty strong. The casters are very strong and roll nicely. I read some horrible user reviews about the Seismic Audio casters breaking off easily, but the Pro-X comes with a sturdy caster board that the casters mount to, no problem. The lids fit on easily and latch strongly. I once had a cheap rack where the doors wouldn't fit into the grooves unless you hammered them in. Altogether this rack is incredible for the price point ($194.00 and free shipping). Definitely recommend!victor327

I purchased this rack to house utility drawers to hold tools, microphones, and in-ear equipment for the band. I had plenty of space to also install a Behringern XR18 to feed multiple audience mics through for sub-mixing before patching into our in-ear monitor mixer. The reason for 4 stars is that 2 of the rivets in a ball corner protector were broken (easy repair with a hand rivet tool and rivets) and the base plate on the unit presses against the bottom of the front and rear removable panels making it difficult to remove them. Suggest they may want to add small spacers to raise the rack boys a little to relieve this. Otherwise it appears very solid.Johnny

Sound: N/A Features: The latches on the case are nice and seem sturdy but there's no way to lock them to keep people out.The Handles are bolt on and protrude into the case making the overall outer dimensions larger but give enough clearance on the inside. They also seem sturdy enough. They are not removable. The doors fit snugly and have a decent lip for some sealing quality, the back door has a zipper mesh attachment around the entire inside of it for storing cables and other small items which is nice.The chassis features legs on the bottom and grooves on the top for stacking multiple cases which is nice for job specific cases. Ease of Use: Easy as could be, hardware included for mounting devices. Latches are easy, lids go on snug with no fuss. Quality: My biggest gripe is that the abs body thickness is not thick. Its thin enough it has flex and I feel like a good drop from the back of a truck or the top of a stack of gear it could break, maybe. I don't intend to test or put my recording equipment in precarious places either, but accidents do happen.A smaller complaint is the mounting brackets are holes drilled into the chassis aluminum with corner screws holding the rails that have the threads the screws grab onto. The rails were a little uneven so I loosened the corner screws at the top and bottom holding them and adjusted to center as best I could. Even with adjustment there was a small gap on one side where the other was flush. It's not a real drawback nor is it anything that will affect mounting units into because it so small but it was noticeable to me and I wish I could have had it level. Value: For the price, convenience, and piece of mind it's a good value. I know there are better but I'm not touring, just gigging and it's up to me take care with/of it. It's exactly what I need to do what I need and I'm happy enough I'll be getting a second for in depth recording devices to accompany my basic plug and play rig. This case didn't last a week in a trailer. The caster board is made out of particle board and the walls are extremely thin. The wheels immediately snapped and the case warped. To top it all off Seismic Audio did not honor their warranty.artbincredible
rack looks well built, but the bag holding the caster plate attachment screws was ripped open with the screws all over inside the case. This was caused by inadequate packing/securing of the caster plate as it was loose inside the case unit, causing the hardware bag to be ripped open and some of the protective eggcrate type foam attached to the front/rear covers has ripped areas caused by the caster plate bouncing around during shipping.Randy B.
This is everything I expected… good, solid construction. If I had to nitpick, the drawer's locking mechanism feels cheap and the screws are chrome-colored with metal washers… they definitely get the job done, but they're the only thing where I could ask for some improvement (and not enough to knock a star). Literally everything else feels like top quality. All-in-all, I don't know how they do it for this price. Fair Warning: The drawer is heavy… it's made of real metal, not some cheap piece of tin-grade garbage.Ryan D.

I have had this case for 5 months almost to the day. I got to hold a small data wrangling kit (a MacBook Pro, 2 Cinema Docks, a power supply, and a small drawer.) the laptop holders have stopped holding place, one of the wheels doesn’t turn, and one of the hinges for the lid has fallen off.Joshua
