This is a standard fender fretless four-string jazz bass that has been upgraded with alembic activator pickups and electronics (which cost over $1,000!) as well as the hat control knobs that come standard on many alembic instruments. in addition, i have swapped out the stock bridge and tuners for black. i have also installed a black schaller s-lock straplock system.the bass is in excellent condition and sounds incredible – like an alembic!

Condition: this bass is in great condition just to not mislead anyone i put in the very good category it can almost be excellent. fender jazz bass with audere pre amp installed. this bass is very smooth, fast neck, and is comfortable. the back of the bass where the neck pocket is there is a crack in the finish and towards the very bottom there is a couple of shallow surface nicks in the finish. you can see pictures to see the size up against a ink pen tip. i included a you tube video so you can get and idea what you are getting with this pre amp.

This is a used 2000 fender standard jazz bass set up and intonated for .045-.105s. plays and works well. body, neck has several light dings and scuffs, no major damage. frets shows light wear. protective plastic on pickguard starting to peel off and can be removed. had a few screw holes on the body exposed for the pickup covers which is included. might need a new set up for your preference. no case, strap, or other accessories.
