Reviews:
I purchased this item to protect my Gibson Les Paul Custom Signature Series Guitar. As reviewed, the interior is extremely plush. The exterior looks quite dependable for all intent and purposes. Like others noted, the points of contention are the metal pieces attaching the handle preventing a 5 star rating. It is illogical to spend so much time on every detail "except" the parts supporting ALL the weight of the instrument. It appears that with a given amount of weight shift, the support brackets may snap off allowing the case to fall down in the direction of the headstock and potentially cause damage from impact. Since this case will very rarely see time outside of my home, I feel fairly certain the few times I need to transport my axe, I will be careful.1amun_re
Cheap shell covered with vinyl. Cheap handle. Cover is falling off where the case curves in. Stitching is a joke, not real. It should sell for about $40. At least it fits my guitar. Not even close in quality to a Road Runner for about the same price.nolens
i ordered this with intentions of getting the most for my money. I don't have big bucks to spend, but I wanted certain things and I got what I hoped for. I wanted enough length to accommodate the longer-than-typical headstock on my LP copy Bradley. The measurements were clearly lined out. The rest of the fit was perfect and plush. My only criticism is the metal bracket that secures the nice handle seems a little thin, but I expected there to be a little give-and-take somewhere, for this price. I'm pretty handy and will figure out a way to reinforce it. If not for this I'd give it 5 stars! FYI, Standard Shipping meant US Post Office, at least in my case. I'm glad I have a good-natured mail carrier.filmbuffed

Reviews:
The case I bought for my guitar was as advertised. It fit perfectly and held the guitar firmly in place, plus the construction was first rate, made of wood and padded well! Knowing the type and dimensions of your instrument will get you a case that will securely keep your guitar from sliding around in it and will not cause any unnecessary damage to your instrument. This guitar case is really well constructed and the latches are very good also. A case is one of the best investments you'll make for your instruments and this one fits the bill and budget perfectly!Mark
First case arrived with bent latch, missing key and dimple on the front exterior face. Returned it. Second case arrived with latch that did not match up with the top flange pushed in so it would not fit in the bottom receiving slot. Will not bend out to fit without damaging the case. Also had oily staining on multiple areas of the front face that is slowly, but not completely yet coming off with soap and water and hard scrubbing. The interior fit is PERFECT. I am exhausted by the back and forth and will probably accept this one even though one of the latches does not fit properly. The case still seems very functional, but the crew manufacturing the outside of these cases is not paying attention and I suspect they are not inspected. No what you would get from a higher quality manufacturer.photonic
I really like this case. After years of using a substandard case, I really have come to appreciate this well made, high quality case. The interior is soft and well padded- it protects the guitar from the dings and pings of everyday use. The case is well crafted, everything fits together perfectly. It has solid high quality metal hinges and 4 metal closures. There are metal feet on the bottom and rear of the case for protection. I can't believe the high quality of this case for such a reasonable price. No bad smell like some of the other cases.Super slim

Reviews:
Unfortunately my son wanted the Squire Mini so I didn't end up keeping this but it is a great bag either way.Bob
It's smaller than i tought but it was my fault that i didnt check the measures. Very beautiful indeed!
Serves its function as a guitar case, although does not provide much padding. Keep in mind this is made for the SG and Les Paul "Express" model from EpiphoneJonathan

Reviews:
Like most, I looked at the cheaper alternatives when seeking to replace the flimsy gig bag for my new (2016) USA SG Standard. While there are cheaper options, they do not provide the neck support necessary for the SG – this case offers the correct support for the angle of the set neck in the form of a "ramp" where it meets the body. Many of the generic "one size fits all" cases do not. This case also cradles the instrument properly, and is not "too tight" and/or "too loose" along the curves of the body. Now, I'm no fan of overpriced Gibson-branded accessories, and would have opted for aftermarket if the fit was the same but sadly this is the only way I found to properly protect my SG. This is a quality TKL Canadian-made case with "Gibson Gear" silkscreened on it, and the cost, for me, justifies the peace of mind. Was well packed (double boxed) and shipped quickly – great job by MF.Bob
This is a sturdy case! Much nicer than what Gibson has used in the last several years. As I understand it this case is made in Costa Rica. Its much heavier and stout compared to the Canadian or Chinese cases. I bought it to fit my real 57' Single Cut Junior but it also fits my 59'Double Cut perfectly! Like a glove! I will buy another…….JTSOB
I bought this case for my 2016 50s Tribute LP. I know the gig bag could do a good job for protecting my guitar, but nothing beats a hard shell case. This case is pretty awesome for what it is. Looks like it was made from tough plywood, and the covering looks pretty tough as well. This case doesn't have a locking hinge. You have to buy a padlock for it. The interior has a plush gray lining that provides soft cushioning for your LP, and its safe on the finish as well. My LP fits snug inside the case, it does not shake around, which gives me peace of mind that it won't be shaking around when I'm carrying it about. Visual aesthetics are simple but elegant. The Gibson Gear logo blazing across the front looks cool, although I personally wish it could've been the Gibson USA logo. The leather tab for the accessory compartment has the Gibson logo embossed on it, nothing too special. It's a good case for a decent price. I wouldn't mind recommending it.AcousticMetroTech

Reviews:
A great compact case, yet with ample room inside for your accessories. The case is well made with a really nice lush looking interior. Chose this case for my son to carry his Epiphone SG back and too to college, and they compliment each other a treat. Would highly recommend both case and company. Thanks PMT.Stephen P.
American Music Supply is the place to get all your music gear. I got my epiphone case and my epiphone sg p90 from them for a few installment payments. The gear is great the people are great. Customer service will go out of their way to make sure you get the gear you want and not have to settle for the next thing that you don't. So I say check out American Music Supply. Com and grab the gear you have been wanting all your life. They have the top of the line brands and the cheaper names for those penny pinchers. Get on board and check it out.
I purchased this case for my Epiphone Les Paul Modern and it does the job perfectly, my other cases were too tight and didn't leave any room for my padded leather strap which this one does. Nice size compartment for accessories and finished with the steely grey very well padded cushioning inside it looks great. With the logo on the front too it was the only choice to compliment and protect my new guitar. PMT also delivered it in great time too!Kristian H.

Reviews:
Got this for an Epiphone Special I with P-90's and it fits great. Would work for lots of smaller bodied Epi Les Paul type instruments. No gig bag is as good as a hard case, so already off the bat I have to deduct SOMETHING, but the price is very reasonable for a well padded bag and other bags in this price range often won't have any padding at all. Shoulder straps are good, the zippered storage pocket though is smaller than I expected. You can't get much in it beyond spare strings, a short cable and maybe a small electronic tuner. I don't think all that would fit if you tried putting a strap in there too so storage space is at a premium. Still it is well padded to be so cheap so 4 stars. Well made compared to some I've seen.David
Bought 2 of them last time they went on sale. They are padded but not very thick. There is a lot of room inside for the guitar. But not a very big accessory pocket on front for extras . I have an Epi Les Paul Junior trans blue in one and a Greenburst K-tone hollow body in the other. And BOTH fit. The Hollow body is snug but does zip up fine inside without damage. Dual zippers are quality and material reminds me of the Fender bags of years ago. For what I need them for, They work perfectly. Keeping dust off them and Protecting them from Scratches, Dings and Dents. For the money, These are worth every penny!!!skidoo90
I use this bag with an Epiphone Les Paul. It fits like a glove, but it's easy to get your guitar in and out. I zip it in for the night to keep my guitar from the dust the whole day, and back form work I take it out still tuned. The abrasion resistant nylon on the outside is high quality, and the padding seems to be hi density foam. The inside is smooth to keep your guitar cozy. The carrying straps have comfortable padding, with the option to carry like a backpack. Still don't trust the clip hooks to not release the guitar to the floor, so have to make sure there are no twists that can cause that to happen. For a Les Paul sized guitar, look no further. This is your bag.MANUEL

Great case, great price. Protect your guitar, Les Pauls have a nasty habit of falling and breaking their necks. Just look on eBay, many used Pauls have a neck repair. Keep your baby safe and sound in a good case.jodaug

Overall, this is an excellent case. The exterior finish seems like it might scuff easily, but if you work at it, you can scuff just about anything. The Important stuff – sturdy, with good quality hardware. Very well padded interior with a very nice plush lining. Offers more protection in the neck and bridge than most – a well thought out design. Best of all, it fits my Masterbuilt EF-500RCC. Should be a good fit for most "orchestra" sized guitars. If you've got an EPI, go to their website to check for fit. A great value at this price point. One last thing – it's a better case than my Martin came in – and it wasn't all that bad.Prehistoric Music Man
I wasn't sure which case to get for my EPI EF500-RCCE but the EPI website said this was the one. It's designed for the smaller OO guitars in their lineup but also fits the EF500 perfectly, if not snuggly. I'm impressed with the heft (it's a heavy piece of equipment…don't expect your 7 year old to haul it around) of this case, the apparent quality of the fit and finish and the overall appearance, which is enhanced by a brown strip of Tolex that sets it apart from other cases. I don't have any experience with this case yet for travel and I don't play gigs so time will tell about its ruggedness, but I expect it to last a long time. This is a very nice product for the price.PRPLHZ
I bought this case because it's the only case that fits the EL-00 Pro guitar. I bought the EL-00 Pro and the case was on back order. I feel the case is of good guality and fits the EL-00 Pro like a glove. It has a nice interior lining and good latches and looks nice. It is also important to keep any acoustic guitar properly humidified and can't be done without a hardshell case. I feel this case is just as good as the gibson cases and others for a lot less expense. Since I only play at home now days it protects the guitar very well and it's well worth the price. I would trust it if I did take the guitar out doors. I must add because it was on back order gear head Nick Sage ext 3251 kept me well informed when it would arrive and was quite a help in this matter . He went far out of his way on this.Bluesman

Reviews:
I think the price of guitar cases are totally inflated and to get one on sale is something one has to do to stretch the dollar. Okay, that being said, this case fits my China made Fender strat Squier to a tee. The eye catching tweed fits the Fender vibe. If you noticed my cons was durability i.e. the cases tweed look is attractive, but you wonder as road gigs pile up if the tweed doesnt start to tear and expose the raw components exterior of the case underneath? If they had lacquered the tweed exterior, the case itself would have a fighting chance to slip and slide into vans and carriage areas with little thought of rips and tears it would acquire in a short time. Again, I dont gig much these days, but if I was looking at a case long term that could withstand the road, this case would questionable unless you "handle with care" when you transport and load and unload your gear.James R
I didn't feel like spending over $200 and waiting until who knows when, for a Gibson Explorer case, so I picked one of these up. For the money, it's a good case. I carry my guitars with me to shows, so they are always in my vehicle, so this case does the job. I will say it feels a tad more sturdy than the Gator version of this case, and it's slightly smaller, which is a good thing given how large an Explorer case has to be. The only improvement I could wish for, is to make it tad smaller still. There's still several inches of room from the headstock to the edge of the case. Overall, for the money, I'm very happy with the case.Tony
I purchased this knowing that it wouldn't be a super durable road case but adequate for storage and playing out now and then. In those ways, it met my expectations. The case is made of very thin plywood, but not so flimsy that it can't function as a good light duty case. The hardware appears to be of decent quality and all of the latches lined up well. The lining was neatly applied and actually fairly soft and plush. It is a universal fit case, so I wasn't expecting it to be completely form fitting to my Telecaster. It will move around a bit in the case when you transport it. It could use better neck support, as well. But overall, not bad for the price. Where this product really came up short is with the application of the tweed covering. The tweed was applied over wood chips and small voids in the wood frame. No effort was made in sanding or prepping the wood prior to applying the cover material. This is only cosmetic, but looks really sloppy and substandard. Maybe I just got a rough one. I didn't expect perfection at this price, but I don't think this case ever should have left the factory like this.Pat

First of all I must say I love Sweetwater. My sales associate Jason King has been wonderful to work with. He has always been professional, helpful, and kind. As far as the case I purchased for my Epiphone Wildkat is concerned I am very happy with it. It was delivered quickly and the packaging is phenomenal. The box arrives undamaged! The shipping folks are great. I never have to be concerned about the contents being damaged. I also picked up a hardshell case for my Epiphone Coronet and again it is beautiful. Delivery was quick and no damage to the shipping box. Because of Sweetwater's high standards and customer service, I plan on buying my first Gretsch and another hardshell case. With their customer service and very high standards why would I shop anywhere else.
This is a very well made case with thick padding to protect your guitar. While the description doesn't mention the Uptown Kat, it is a great fit for these instruments. This is the best Epiphone case I have. It does differ from the picture on line as it says Epiphone on the outside rather than the large E.Eric O
I received my case just before Father's Day and so far, I'm well pleased. When I bought the Wildkat guitar, I don't think there was a case made just for that guitar so I didn't have one. this case is a perfect fit! it's not as sturdy as my Stratocaster factory case but it's still good enough for my personal storage needs. I won't be dragging this guitar to gigs in a truck, so….. As always, I reserve the right to come back at a later date and amend my initial thoughts about gear ordered from Musician's Friend. The people who I have worked with on the phone have been nothing short of awesome. I'm glad that I waited until there was a custom fitting Wildkat case at a really reasonable price.everybody loves sax!

Reviews:
I expect ES339's to be increasing in popularity because of their physical trimmed down size and pickup options for a true archtop with a centerblock, a la the venerable ES335! Unfortunately with the vast majority of the Epiphone product line being made in Sejung China now, it is just unrealistic to expect Epi/Gibson to continue sourcing those wonderful TKL hardshell cases from Canada. I have had some Japanese- and Korean-made guitars in these cases for between 10 and 15 years, and they have been through you know what and back, with every kind of roadie and stage crew in between. Access cases makes the current versions for Epi(and also Yamaha), and the first and most important thing you notice, which you should when you invest in a hardshell case, is the perfect fit. In all fairness, the plush interior on the Access cases are every bit as thick as the TKL's, but they lack a bit of the plush padding on the underside of the archtop lid, a feature the TKL's that EPI had made did not have. You have to purchase a pro-level TKL case in order to get one with a true archtop lid, and then we're looking at cases averaging twice the price of these. Also on the positive side, these cases do not have an overt glue smell the minute they are opened, which requries them being "aired out" and sprayed down with Fabreze. The two biggest negatives against this particular case are it's availability; they did not ship cases when they started selling guitars, and the initial guitar inventory was almost all pre-sold. They are catching up, and MF is doing a good job of keeping folks posted on the availability. The second negative is price/percentage; I personally just don't believe a decent case should cost 25% or more of the retail you pay for the instrument. Given the fit issues and such, I think the real solution would be to provide the case with the purchase and simply raise the overall price about half of what they are asking for the case. If Yamaha can do it for their acoustics which have unusual fit and size issues, Epiphone with all their unit volume could certainly manage it.arch69er
So…you got a great deal on a 339, and you're looking for a case? This is it. Seriously, this is probably the only option, but the good news it it's a great case: snug, softly-lined, well-constructed, and a solid way to take care of that guitar, so it plays well 10 years down the road. Dog-proof. Kindergartener-proof. Closet-proof. Trunk-proof. Proof that you take your rig seriously. Proof to the stage manager that you want to get around. Proof that you don't mine if your guitar smells of silica. Proof that you understand that a 339 neck is not a bolt-on.Sean
I ordered my Epiphone ES-339 and would not consider moving the guitar around without a case, or even leaving it on a stand in my studio. I read good reviews on the Epiphone hardshell case, and figured this would fit better than some aftermarket cases. I didn't want the guitar moving around or being too tight. I made the right choice. guitar is well protected inside the grey plush interior, storage compartment is small but that's the way it is on these 'profile' style cases. I use a gig bag for chords, accessories, etc. so I was not concerned with a large storage compartment, just maybe enough room for a strap, capo, cleaning cloth, strings, and some picks. This case will do fine, and with the cost point of my Epiphone ES-339 on sale, it is very reasonably priced considering what most cases of this quality cost. There are no noticeable 'bad' odors or chemical smells, maybe like a new car, or new office chair etc. I am very happy with the quality, fit and finish of the case. All hardware/fasteners are securely assembled and look very nice. No loose skin, or broken stitching.John E. Quest

SamAsh was fast and efficient on shipping. Price was competitive. Item came as described and in new condition. The Epilite guitar case is light and protects my 339 style guitar very well–looks like a custom fit. Happy with my purchase. ThanksVINCENT
Fits my Es-339 like a glove. Would've loved a little compartment on the interior, maybe built into the neck rest, and maybe another zippered pouch on the exterior, but otherwise the case is awesome. Light, easy to carry, seems durable.Evan
I've been looking for one of these for months. Kudos to SamAsh for having one! Great looking case. Very well made. Fits my 339 perfectly. Extra storage and back straps offer high utility. Excellent value as well.Jill

Reviews:
I bought this guitar for my Martin DX Johnny Cash. The big problem and flaw is ( THE LOCKING LATCH )! The top of the latch is secured with TWO SCREWS!! With the case closed and locked, I had three latches open, two screws out, top of the latch off, case open, GUITAR OUT, case closed, top of latch on, two screws in and three latches down in ( 60 SECONDS )!!! In out in 60 seconds, and the case looked like it had never been touched!! ( The point of locking the case is so no one can have easy access to you'r valuable instrument )! GOOD -NEWS PROBLEM SOLVED! I replaced the two screws with two (POP RIVETS) – Now I'm a happy camper!KOOL ( GUITAR HAND ) LUKE
I ordered 2 of these at once for guitars I built going out this week, and was unhappy when they arrived today. Both have big bubbles in the fabric on both the top and bottom where the fabric is not glued down to the wood underneath. I don't want my customers to see them so will look for alternative cases locally now if my upholstery guy can't fix them. The black vinyl gator cases I usually buy are a lot better looking! I gave them 3 stars because otherwise they look great, until you see the bubbles.Guitarmaker
Nice case, a bit oversized for my Seagull M6, but that was expected with a non model specific case. Looks very nice with the cloth covering and the blue plush lining. Is decently padded and provides more than enough protection for road trips of in the house. Overall a really nice case for the money.Cowboy Tim
15. Gator Gw-Lp-Brown Deluxe Wood Guitar Case
Product Details:
The interior of the gator cases gw-lps traditional lp guitar case features a plush magenta lining and a fabric cover for ultimate style and protection of your les paul-style instrument. it also features 5-ply wood shell with a traditional brown exterior. the guitar case fits most body sizes similar to the lp-type guitar.
Reviews:
This is a good case as long as these issues don't concern you: 1. My Gibson LP slides around inside the case. I find this surprising as this is a repro Lifton case. To secure the guitar inside the case, you have to pack it out with t-shirts or towels. Huh? 2. The latches feel flimsy. I'm not sure how much abuse these could withstand. I have an ESP case for a different guitar, and the latches on that are solid as are the latches on my OEM Gibson case. I think that Gator have sized this case to accommodate a bunch of different guitars, like Epiphone LPs and other single cutaway guitars. This makes sense for Gator but not for Gibson LP customers. The color is attractive. The pink interior is wild. The plywood feels solid. The tolex is well applied. In the end, I've kept the case as I only need it to transport my LP around in my car. I wouldn't be happy using this as a touring case. This really is a poseur's case. 🙂Chris
I bought this case as a replacement for the old chainsaw case that came with my 1981 Gibson Les Paul Standard. This case is slightly longer than the standard Gibson USA cases. There is roughly 1 1/2 – 2 inches of room in the case which is a bit annoying since I can feel the guitar move around (back-forth) when I carry it. Outside of that, the case is very well made and durable. Very similar in appearance to the brown Gibson USA cases. Nice interior, strong hardshell outer case. Aside from the fit for my guitar, it works for me (I remedied the problem by putting a small towel to make the guitar snug). I would recommend the case if you just need to keep your guitar protected inside of your house but if you're using it for gigging purposes or traveling, I would suggest you look at something a little tougher and more secure. Outside of that, you can't beat the price.
It's not the 50's Gibson case, but very close. I have been looking since 1986 for a case like it. Finally being able to obtain it it,is cool. If you are on a budget, get it.Robert

Reviews:
Not much to say about a case, however I can echo what others had said regarding fitment as I was deciding whether or not I would buy it. It fits the guitar absolutely perfectly…no slop, no chaffing or hot spot areas. If you need a case for the 1000 series…this is a no brainer.Mike
Well, I'm fan of radical shape design. Also, I'm owner of Gibson Explorer and Dean ML for long years. For a long time I was looking for a model that is very similar to the described guitars, and I found it in the Snakebite model. As I was unable to find the white Explorer, this white Snakebite was a hit right in the middle! The guitar “sits” very nicely on my thighs as I sit and play, but it also behaves just fine as I stand and play, it’s nicely balanced. The finish is very good, not quite like the original Gibson, but the price is definitely lower. The aggressive shape of the guitar, as well as the look of the headstocks, encourages its owner to invent new riffs and roar chords from some hot "tubes". Compared to the original, it gives a slightly "smaller bite" and the sound is a bit darker, IMHO it is probably a matter of resonance due to the different quality of the wood, but that is not always so noticeable. Built-in Tonepros hardware is a guarantee that the tone will be transmitted to the pickups and amplifier. The switch is in a much better place than with the Explorer, and just two volume and tone controls are really enough for that kind of music. I know this guitar is meant more for rhythm guitar player than for lead players but maybe it would be good if the neck has 24 jumbo frets instead of 22, maybe some other model, though I doubt it (JH isn't a lead player). The price may not be for beginners and occasional non-commercial musicians, but I don't think it's worth buying some cheap guitars that will later stand in some dark corner of the room. Snakebite always invites you to take it in hand and try some riff, trust me.
I bought this case for my ESP LTD M-400. After two days the interior is falling apart. They use very cheap glue and the felt inside is already loose. The vinyl covering is also very cheap too and I don't think it will be long lasting ether. If you are looking at this case for your ESP guitar don't buy this one. One thing nice about having too many guitars is you can try putting your guitar in many different cases to find the right one. Buy the SKB-66 Deluxe Universal Electric Guitar Case and it will be a perfect fit. The interior is a lot nicer and glue properly. The ESP case grabs the guitar to tight and does not have a recess for the guitar neck. The SKB holds the neck better and does not grab the guitar to tight, but holds the guitar snug when the lid is closed and the TSA latches are latched. It is a much better made guitar case.Donv

Wow! Excellent craftsmanship!..Nice fit for this big bass.Very soft silver furr lining. Nice latches. Better than the old wood cases. Modern. Protective plastic molding strip is like a little bumper around the case. Nicely padded handle. Feels good. Awesome price, and the case arrived at my door in two days.Crazy bass master
I've got an Epiphone Thunderbird Vintage Pro, and being a thunderbird it is already hard to find a case or bag that fits it and is affordable. The vintage pro is even taller making it even more difficult to find an appropriate case. I was pleasantly surprised to see this case fit it perfectly. And the quality is decent. It is a sturdy case, but I wouldn't take it on a flight. Good storage inside for other accessories and fairly lightweight considering the size. Overall a good case for the money.Doug
OK quality, a little flimsy. The body fits really nicely and locates the bass in the case. There is very little pressure on the neck, which I like. The padding is very hard. No bad odor like some Epiphone cases have. Large storage compartment. The shell seems to be pretty thin and flexible. I don't like gig bags but this case is really just a step up. I would have liked a rectangular case but it's hard to find any hard case for a Thunderbird. There is a big difference in quality between this case and the Epiphone case for my Firebird. The Firebird case is much more substantial and the latches and hinges are not at all alike. It's obvious they were made by two different manufacturers.Chris

Overall: Excellent case, very well built. Second one I have ordered. First one I ordered was last year for my epiphone aj 220 sce. Protects my axe well. This one I ordered for my new epiphone masterbilt dr 500mce!! Well passed and very immpessive looking case. Not cheap looking, and love the subtle brown trim, gold buckles and hinges. Love my epiphone guitars as I own three now. So having the gold epiphone month top of the case let's people know I am proud of the brand. zZounds is awesome!!! Have bought 9 things from them. Fast shipping and they pack them well. Customer service is quick to respond. Great case. Can't go wrong getting it. Even greater though is zZounds, my go to for all my musical needs.Ronald
I recently purchased a 2021 Epiphone Hummingbird Pro from a local dealer. Didn’t think I needed a case because I had two dreadnought cases at home. Didn’t fit, so has to do some research and came across this case. Fits perfectly, beautiful plush interior, and delivered in two days. Very happy!Mike Weyrauch Music
What a gorgeous case. Bought along with an Epiphone Masterbilt DRM-500mce. The fit of the guitar is absolutely perfect (as it should be, I suppose). Barely snug, but not tight, and allows no movement of the guitar whatsoever. Very plush lining, and a nice, deep accessory compartment. Plus – just look at the thing. The brown/black contrast with gold hardware is really great to look at, and the padded handle is a nice upgrade as well. I am not sure about the vinyl covering in the long run for rough handling; it feels soft and a bit pliable, even though the case itself seems very sturdy. We will see how it holds up over the years being transported, but if you're concerned about a case getting scratched up (isn't that what it's for though?), perhaps a plastic case would be a better choice. I won't mind it getting dinged and scratched, so long as it doesn't start completely peeling away. Time will tell. Also, I don't think this is the case to hand over to airline baggage handlers. I wouldn't put any wood-based case in checked baggage anyway; I'd go with a poly case at the very least. Nonetheless, it's definitely a beautiful and strong case, and certainly a good value, considering branded cases can sell for twice this price and more. Getting a gorgeous Epiphone case for an Epiphone guitar for under a C-note is a no brainer.IanEric.com
