Purchased the SA-212 cab about a year ago now and I've just gotten done putting it through the paces. Major kudos to Seismic Audio for making an affordable 2×12 with surprising sturdy build quality with excellent clarity and depth to match! I run my EMG X-Series equipped seven string guitar through a Peavey 6505 head with a boost in front and a graphic EQ in the fx loop like any (in)sane metal head would. I would be lying if I said I haven't been completely floored by this cabinet since day one. The top end is clear and crisp and there's enough deep bass to crumble sheetrock walls lol. It definitely has a voicing all its own and it honestly might sound better than my Mesa 2×12 with V30s. It took me a little re-learning how to dial in my amp to get the most out of it, but when I finally found "that" tone, I knew it was gonna be one heck of a ride and faces have melted accordingly. If you're on the fence like I was, take the chance with this cab. I am farest from disappointed and I'm sure you will be too.
The cab I bought did not have the center front to back brace that was in the photos at the the time. I brought this up with Seismic and they said "oops, we didn't know" basically. They updated the photos since but offered nothing to me. Also, "carpet" is a loose description of the covering. It's felt. Internal edge bracing does not go from edge to edge. It starts at the floor of the cabinet but stops a few inches from the top of the cabinet. The back and walls are an inexpensive particle board. The front baffle is as described. You will need to drill and add your own t-nuts and mounting screws. For the money, it's a decent cab but is not pro quality. Good for simple home use. Shipment and correspondence were quick as always with Seismic.

I got my 1×12 cabinet for compact use. It works and sound great. Bad knees and joints from being prior military makes a 412 or 212 hauling to practice or gigs a pain, so compartmentalizing it all is good. It’s way easier to swap speakers too. It’s sturdy which is good. I recommend it.William B.
This is my second Seismic 1×12. The first one I bought was years ago… this new one has some improvements over the original in terms of fit n finish. When I bought the first one, you had to install the T nuts your self. This one came with them pre installed. The only issue for this cab is the spacing holes are meant for Celestion and my example did not fit my Eminence speaker at all! So if you are planning to load an Eminence speaker in here, you may have issues. Otherwise…. I really do not think you can beat these. Those 440live cabinets aren't even as good.Max S.

This is a great cabinet for the money, and I think you would be hard pressed to find a better value. Mine arrived blemish free, was solidly built and wired up for an easy speaker installation. I really like the wheat grille too, and think it's a nice look. I wish the Seismic nameplate was removeable, but that's not a big deal. Don't listen to the negative jackelopes out there saying "Seismic is garbage, get Avatar" etc etc. Sure Avatar is better, but it's also 2X the cost. I seriously believe these Seismic cabs would fit the bill for like 90% of players needs out there. The 90% that are not Slash, Steve Vai or David Gilmour.Jason W.

I've been playing guitar for almost 40 years and always in search of the right cabinet to compliment my many amp heads. Fortunately, I found this cabinet and it has performed perfectly. It is solid and has a great sounds. I found it to be very well built and the price couldn't be beat. I have gigged out with this cabinet many times and have recommended Seismic Audio cabinets to many of my musician friends.
This particular cab was missing one set of bolt but the mount points don't ever align with all four points on these cabs. You get 2 or 3 points you can actually use. The speaker cut outs aren't even but its covered with a grill. Despite that if you can snag one for under $200 I would certainly buy Seismic cab (I have 3 so far) over building it myself or buying it from someone else.Peter H.

Very impressive construction. The only (minor) problem is the mounting hardware for the speakers do not line up with the EMINENCE speakers I put in. This has got to be one of the best hidden gems out there, for the music world. If you are a “Name Brand” shopper, who would rather pay 3-5 times the price, for an unloaded speaker cabinet, that has no clue where the cabinet came from, or what country the customer support team is located in, then this is not for you. For everyone else, I promise you, you cannot beat this Memphis based company. They are the best. I submitted a question, through the support link, and had a response in less then 48 hours (and this was during the Christmas rush. Compared to another “Name Brand” loaded 2×12 cabinet that I own, that cost $150.00, more is an ok box. But I’ve turned around and have almost $200.00, in new speakers to put in it. Now I wish I would have ordered another unloaded cabinet. But, live and learn, because after putting the speakers I want, in this cabinet, my total price will be about $30-40, more than the loaded box. Just got this cab on a trade and it sounds really good with both my Peavey, as well as the ZT lunchbox, serving as head amps respectively. The enclosure is probably not made out of the finest wood but it feels sturdy and it is fairly heavy for its size, at about 32 lb. I really like the white tolex-looks like the EVH 112 and with the same dimensions( although the EVH will cost you three times more). I might try to match other speakers with this cab in the future, but for now I am happy with the stock one.swingordie

This is a very good 1×12 cab. You can't go wrong with a V30, and it songs great in this cab. The porting makes for a bigger low end than say my mesa 1×12, but not quite a defined as the mesa but still plenty good. Pairing this with the Mesa makes for a great combo, as this provides the low end the Mesa lacks. The cab looks great, and has help up respectable after 4-5 gigs with it. I have two small tolex tears that i repaired – not indestructible, but not really cheap or falling apart either. This cab has sounded great at gigs, my sound really cuts through since i've been using it in addition to a 2×12. I like the fact that it's angled behind the grill, so you still get a full size cab even though it's angled.

This is a sturdy well made cabinet. But it is strictly front loading and comes with no hardware. Loaded 2 JBL K120 guitar speakers into it. Had to drill holes for T-Nuts which I purchased at a Sutherland's Hardware store along with the bolts. You want to use machine thread. It was some work, but I now have an excellent cabinet that sounds great. If you are just going to front mount with woods screws into the plywood it would be easier.Thomas
