Overall: I bought the wine red bag. The bag looks great, it has plenty of pocket space, with one pocket big enough for a 3 ring binder or a lap top. The shoulder straps a very comfortable even with a Les Paul weighing it down. My only complaint about the bag is if you are looking for something with plenty of padding this isnt the bag for you. But for the price it's not bad.
Overall: The bag itself is well constructed with fine tight stitching, ( it is needed), extra padding to insure well care of instrument and looks great. The specs are wrong , I purchased a wine one for my semi hollow Ibanez and it was too short one half inch , so I exchanged it for a Beige one ( supposed to be an inch longer) same length but roomier depth wise.

Overall: This bag obviously is not the high dollar type of case. However, the material is much better than i had imagined. Relatively thick canvas and solid material. I am especially impressed with the zippers which are very good and give you confidence when opening and closing the bag. It will keep your guitar from sun, rain and water, and relatively light conditions. But this is NOT a protective bag. It is a carry all. It has one pocket to hold your extra stuff that's a pretty good size with two zippers. I would definitely buy another one especially at this price. The only gripe I have is it is a little too snug for my Guitar ( which is supposed to be made for ) that's why I didn't give it five stars, although it got four. Tight is good but there is no padding at the top and it's very tight all the way to the top which scares me. If it had a little better padding at the top I would've kept it, but I returned it and got a hardshell case for $50 more. I haven't got the hardshell case yet. I purchased the power pad gig bag for using to transport a Modern Fender Duo-Sonic between two homes as we live in a condo but on week-ends we have a small beach cottage 65 miles away. My main reason was to protect the guitar but not have to carry a heavy case back and forth from condo lot or from street parking at the beach as those distances are not close. I had heard the Ibanez bag was void of logos and offered protection and storage and was light weight and also fit a multitude of Electric guitars. I can verify it fits Stratocasters, Telecasters, Duo-Sonics and Jaguars so pretty much anything of that size will fit. I like the Army green color with brown trim as it is very generic and I don't need anyone to know what guitar is in the bag. I walk these places from my car on foot so a big Fender logo just isn't as safe especially at night in the City.The bag itself is very well constructed with a very strong canvas type fabric and a great selection of zippered pockets with shoulder strap and handles. It is very substantial for the price and offers what I would call just enough padding without becoming too heavy to handle. I would recommend it for this type travel but I am not certain it would be enough protection for air travel. I'm a music therapist and travel from school to school. It is light with plenty of padding. It fits my classical guitar just right. I had priviously had the older roadrunner gig bag, which I bet many perople had. I must of had it 10-15 years. It was falling apart. The old one had a small handle on the top that the new bag doesn't and that is the one thing I miss. I would lilt the guitar in the middle to place it in the hatchback. This Gig Bag is replacing an Ibanez Bag I had previously. That bag had the problem of the straps being slightly too far apart, so they would slip off my shoulders and I had to sew on an extra click-together strap to hold them in place. This Road Runner bag does not have that issue at all. The straps are correctly placed and there's even a clever zippered pocket in one of the straps! Another thing I like is that this bag is compact. A standard classical guitar will fit in here no problem, with no extra space or wiggle room. Nice! The other pockets are excellent too. The pocket by the headstock is a 2-in-1 pocket. You can fit all your small accessories in there. The large pocket has another mesh flat pocket inside and the main large pocket is plenty big enough to carry sheet music. Also, the zippers are excellent. Large, and they zip up very smoothly. The padded handle feels great and there is a hook to hang it up as well, if you want. I've owned many gig bags over the years. I purchased this with a 25% off sale from Musicians Friend and am super happy with the value and quality of this case. I use it for my Epi Les Paul plus top but my 12 year old son quickly found it and stole it from me to upgrade his cheap Gator gig bag fo his Yamaha Pacifica. Everything about this case is better than the lowest end Gator case. The exterior nylon is tougher and more rigid. Padding is thicker. Zipper feels better. The best improvement is the pouches on the outside of the case. The top one over the neck is plenty big for a 15-25 foot cable, tuner, and small accessories. Then there is another small pouch over that for picks or some very small things. The big pocket on the front is plenty big for a folder with sheet music or music book for his school and lessons. The old gator bag the folder and must would stick out so it could (and did) get wet. Even if you are a beginner and have a halfway decent guitar I think its worth getting this case over cheaper options. Now I just need to get another one. That said I with it came in an alternate color like gray or tweed so as not to get 2 cases mixed up. Definitely recommend this case.Mike

I categorize gig bags into basically 3 categories ranging from completely soft, to soft with a semi-rigid perimeter, to a hybrid that is fully solid on the edges. The Fusion falls into the middle category. I tend to avoid the soft category as I fear headstock damage though I own several gig bags in each category. This bag may have risen to the top of my list. The other bag I have in this category would be the Mono Vertigo. While I understand what people like about it, I have issues with it. The straps aren't concealable. While the material is nice, the zippers are not waterproof and do let water in. Storage is minimal. The lining WILL wear quickly due to the way the guitar is inserted/removed. There's no adjustment to account for short scale instruments or offset bodies. As for the rigid hybrid cases, I own several of the Access Stage 5 and Protec Contego bags. The Access Stage 5 is the plushest but is heavy and expensive and not comfortable. The Contego is a little lighter while offering about the same level of protection and is more comfortable. This was the bag that I'd say the Fusion has just toppled for me in that it's even lighter and more comfortable for normal carrying. If I were forced to check a bag in, I'd opt for the Contego but since I don't take instruments on planes, that's not an issue.Steven G.
I was looking for a bass gig bag with +20mm padding, a toughened bottom end and pockets big enough for 2 Boss pedals. The Urban came up on Google. It ticked all of the above, and had chest and waist straps; I ordered one – the wrong one. A call to the office was all that was needed to get the order changed from a black to a blue bag. The bag came boxed the next day. Its padding is hefty enough to make for a stiff bag. The straps have clips to keep the ends tidy. A length of adjustable padding lets me make a nest for the stomps, wireless kit, a short lead and a few other small bits, inside the bag with my Ibanez SR300EB bass. The bass goes inside the padding; the other stuff, between padding and case. There are pockets inside the pockets. One of them had a Fusion key ring and lanyard inside. I wanted pockets and got them. I can fit my Blackstar Fly 3 Bass stereo pack in the biggest pocket. My Hercules EZ-Pack guitar stand fits into the head pocket with room to spare. The chest and waist straps help spread the load. I have, in the first day of getting it, gone on 4 buses and a train, cycled 7 miles, and walked more than 2, all with the bag loaded for my afternoon at the music studio. I stood the Urban in a corner, and it stayed stood. Try that with most bags. It's heavier than my other bass bag, but weight means quality, and you're not going to get this much shielding without weight. The width covers much of my back, blocking out my hi-vis coat. I would welcome more hi-vis on the main and Fuse-on bags or at least some hi-vis rain covers. I can at least put a hi-vis rucksack cover on a Fuse-on, as and when I get one. A staffman my music shop said I'd chosen well, he saw it, and they don't deal with Fusion. The bags are dear but well-made and will look after you.Mick
I researched carefully before buying this bag and this sure was time well spent. I travel in London on public transport every week with my guitar and need a tough bag with good straps and pockets. This bag is fantastic! It is so much better than my old one being stronger with great protection and a snugger fit for my guitar, and excellent good sized pockets. This bag has much more comfortable straps and amazingly it is more compact overall than my old one which used to catch on the doorways and overhead handrails on the train and tube. I also like that it is more rigid than my old bag and as a result it is easier to remove or replace the guitar without the bag collapsing all over the place. The neck protection in this bag is also far superior. Overall it cost half as much again than my old bag but I am twice as happy so worth every penny!Rob

Got this for an Epiphone Special I with P-90's and it fits great. Would work for lots of smaller bodied Epi Les Paul type instruments. No gig bag is as good as a hard case, so already off the bat I have to deduct SOMETHING, but the price is very reasonable for a well padded bag and other bags in this price range often won't have any padding at all. Shoulder straps are good, the zippered storage pocket though is smaller than I expected. You can't get much in it beyond spare strings, a short cable and maybe a small electronic tuner. I don't think all that would fit if you tried putting a strap in there too so storage space is at a premium. Still it is well padded to be so cheap so 4 stars. Well made compared to some I've seen.David
Bought 2 of them last time they went on sale. They are padded but not very thick. There is a lot of room inside for the guitar. But not a very big accessory pocket on front for extras . I have an Epi Les Paul Junior trans blue in one and a Greenburst K-tone hollow body in the other. And BOTH fit. The Hollow body is snug but does zip up fine inside without damage. Dual zippers are quality and material reminds me of the Fender bags of years ago. For what I need them for, They work perfectly. Keeping dust off them and Protecting them from Scratches, Dings and Dents. For the money, These are worth every penny!!!skidoo90
I use this bag with an Epiphone Les Paul. It fits like a glove, but it's easy to get your guitar in and out. I zip it in for the night to keep my guitar from the dust the whole day, and back form work I take it out still tuned. The abrasion resistant nylon on the outside is high quality, and the padding seems to be hi density foam. The inside is smooth to keep your guitar cozy. The carrying straps have comfortable padding, with the option to carry like a backpack. Still don't trust the clip hooks to not release the guitar to the floor, so have to make sure there are no twists that can cause that to happen. For a Les Paul sized guitar, look no further. I picked this up for my ESP LTD B206 and it’s perfect. It’s super snug so your instrument doesn’t move around. I love the neck support with Velcro enclosure to secure the instrument. I also appreciate the end pin padding. I keeps the end pin from poking through the bag. Well built and durable. I love this case. I always bring two guitars in case of broken strings, and different songs call for different sounds. Sturdy, lightweight, looks cool, and easy to transport! Doesn't have an enormous amount of storage but the big pocket is roomy enough for cables, tablet, etc. It's smaller than the the other dual bags I looked at and you'd be forgiven if you thought it was a bag for a single acoustic guitar at first glance. Inside it's nothing fancy but it holds the guitars in well and the material is the type that won't leave fuzz on your instrument.
