I have a home studio and use this guitar almost everyday. For the money you are getting a very professional guitar here. Well built, great projection, easy to play with great intonation. What I am really saying is, you can't get a better guitar for under 5K. I suggest savarez alliance 540 or 500 AR strings, as they really do a great job on this guitar.Keith M
Ok folks, you may be swayed by big brands like Cordoba and Yamaha. I've played some of the most expensive and rarest classical guitars a dealer can get. Some that were freshly made, and others that have been maintained for over 50 years made with woods that are downright unlawful to use now, and their tone was so good, they may have qualified as illegal. Now, the 9P is one of those instruments that bonds with you. Seriously, it is precious. It is a treasure, it is unique. My 9P shows quality and precision no matter where you look. But the sound is what matters. The tone is blended so nicely and so politely that it makes you want to swoon the instrument each and every time you bear it in your arms. As you play, you can smell the perfume of cedar pumping as you play. Oh how glorious! It has amazing projection. Sweet sweet sweet trebles and every present yet not overwhelming basses. Wow… and i mean…. WOW what an instrument. I am amazed each and every I pick it up. Now, this guitar demands respect. It asks you to be reverent when you use it. It will dish out music even if you play hard, but it will ask you to do it well. It will not let you mess up, but, hey if you want to play classical guitar with mediocre skills, please move on. It will reward you every step of the way, each minute you put into it will not be sewed in vain. I cannot stress how lovely the tone is. All you can do is give credit to Alhambra. Those boys in Spain know what they're doing. Do not look for another guitar. This is the one. Don't go for the well known commercially branded guitars like Yamaha or Cordoba. Incredible quality instrument! Sounds absolutely massive for a 12 fret 00, honestly closer to an OM than a small body. Big, balanced, clear and very harmonically rich. The Furch sound is very broad, clear and what I would describe as quite modern. I find it absolutely perfect for solo fingerstyle. Die Vintage 1 RS-SR ist wahrscheinlich punkto Preis- Leistung nicht so leicht zu schlagen. Meiner Meinung nach kann sie es mit den großen Amerikansichen Produzenten (Martin, Gibson, Taylor u.ä. ) alle mal aufnehmen. Bespielbarkeit und der satte ausgewogene Klang mit einem unglaublichen Spektrum an Obertönen sind genau das was ich mir von einer Furch Gitarre, -nach allen Rezensionen die ich bis dato gelesen habe-, erwartet hatte. Als Wiedereinsteiger wollte ich ein Instrument, dass vielseitig einsetzbar ist und sowohl auf der Bühne, wie auch zuhause Spaß macht. Nach einigen Vorversuchen kam ich bei der Ortega RCE 159MN an. Die Gitarre gibt es mit einer schmaleren als der üblichen 52 mm Sattelbreite. Und genau so gefällt sie mir. Die Verarbeitung ist meines Erachtens insgesamt sehr gut. Außer der etwas zu hohen Seitenlage konnte bisweilen noch kein Manko entdecken. Durchgehend gute Lackierung. Gut arbeitende Mechaniken. Das eingebaute Stimmgerät arbeitet sehr zuverlässig uns ist sehr geschmackvoll integriert. Sobald das Stimmgerät eingeschaltet wird, wird der Ausgang des Tonabnehmers stumm geschaltet. Lobenswert ist, dass ab Werk zwei Gurtpins vorhanden sind. Mithilfe des mitgelieferten Gurtes kann man also auch verstärkt und im Stehen direkt loslegen. Ebenso zum Lieferumfang gehört ein hochwertiges Gigbag. Klanglich gefällt mir die Gitarre richtig gut. Sie klingt in keiner Frequenz überbetont laut oder zu leise, eher sehr ausgewogen. Auch über den Tonabnehmer wird ein natürlicher, warmer Klang produziert. Die Lieferung durch MUSIC STORE erfolgte schnell und unkompliziert. Die Gitarre war sicher verpackt und mit einem Testzertifikat versehen.

Overall: I recently purchased a Breedlove ECO Myrtlewood fretless bass and could not be happier. The fit and finish is supurb for this price point (it is as good as my $4,000 Alembic) and the sound is great! zZounds had it in my greedy fingers in two days in perfect condition. I needed to do a few minor things, just personal preference stuff, upon receiving it but out of the box it was still awesome and for sure worthy of 5 stars.1) The fretboard was a bit rough but 3000 sandpaper and a coat of lemon oil solved that issue.2) I immediately replaced the strings with Fender 9120 tape wound round wounds which really opened up the sound verses the cheap flat wounds that came on it. I have used the tape wounds for years on my Alembic fretless as well as my Fender Precision A/E fretless and love them. 3) I replaced the bridge and nut with bone verses the plastic it came with. 4) The Fishman electronics sound decent. I have multiple amp rigs but using this with either my Phil Jones Session 77 for small gigs or my Peavey 208 as a stage monitor with a DI to the FOH providing rich deep bass and crisp highs. I have not tried it with my big rigs as I use FOH support when needed.5) The on board tuner is a great idea but it is not the easiest to see. I just use a tuner pedal which to me is much easier and also functions as a mute when changing basses.I play this bass along with an old Kay upright in a 4 piece all acoustic group and it sounds fantastic. It is not prone to premature feedback like a lot of acoustic basses I have played and the balance playing with a strap is very good. It is not neck heavy and slippery on the back like the Ovation it replaced.The 34" scale was perfect for me and I would not have gotten it otherwise as all of my basses (except the uprights) are 34". As soon as I unpacked it and looked at the finish I bought a Road Runner hard case, it is the best $150 you can spend. This is an instrument worth protecting! I am extremely pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it. I have rated it 5 stars all the way excet for the dealer support which I have not had to use so I have no basis for rating. I am sure if needed Breedlove will take care of it.In summation, this is a very high quality instrument at a great price delivered lightning fast in perfect condition.Stephen
I felt compelled to write a review because there is a bad review up here saying the guitar doesnt get much bass. Lol. I'm sorry but it is made with an intentionally small body- that is what happens when you make a guitar with a small body and a shorter scale doesnt help. If you want bass- get a breedlove concerto body guitar or a dreadnought- get one with rosewood back and sides and spruce top. Guitars under a certain price half a G lets say… dont really typically have much bass and the breedlove discovery concertos are some of the best bass frequency producing guitars under that price point. But to really get bass you gotta spend a lot of income on a solid rosewood back and sides and a dreadnought- then youll probably have too much when you record and have to switch to nickel bronze monels and eq it on the recording console. happens all the time with martin dreadnoughts and big jumbos. This is a great sounding super well setup guitar for travel or younger players or just small people. It comes incredibly well setup for the price- a really great job on the nut height and string slots. perfect saddle height. all new guitars will probably need a truss rod adjustment after theyve had strings up to tension for a month or two. But Breedlove are really sending out some nice guitars- though I only buy from my local shop and I've never bought one from a big warehouse like musiciansfriend.Clay
The PROS: this is a very well made guitar with a lot of nice construction (fretwork, woods, clear-coat and binding are all top notch). Ok, so… CONS: opposite of a Taylor, the neck is chunky and not in a good way. Chunky as in Clunky. The sound is very hi mid focused, but really not like a typical Mahogany: no sweetness, no low end at all. So, neck is slow and action out of box was high (needs saddle work). Seems Breedlove excels puts effort into construction but cant design for comfort/sound. Just one player's two cents.Go_Pats

Auswahlkriterien: Ich mag den Klang einer Nylonsaite und habe kleine Hände. Damit die Finger und das Handgelenk nicht bei jedem Barré Griff verkrampfen, sollte es also eine Gitarre mit schmalem Hals sein. Es sollte eine massive Zederndecke haben, vielleicht ein Cutaway und fürs Auge Perlmutteinlagen. Entscheidungsprozess: Nach einer intensiven Recherche bin ich mit einer Auswahl im Hinterkopf (ohne die R131SN) zu Musicstore gefahren und habe diverse Gitarren ausprobiert. Eher zufällig hatte ich die R131SN in der Hand und wollte sie von da an nicht mehr weglegen. Der Ton ist schön warm und hat Volumen. Fürs Picking geeignet, ebenso für Flamenco, klassische Stücke oder moderne Popsongs. Die Gitarre ist gut verarbeitet und insgesamt sehr ausgewogen. Durch den schmaleren Hals lässt sie sich gut spielen und fühlt sich durch die matte Lackierung phantastisch an!!! Staub- und fingerabdruckanfällige Hochglanzlacke werde ich künftig meiden. Die R131SN hat zwar kein Cutaway oder Perlmutt, ist aber durch die gute Bespielbarkeit, den tollen Klang und die seidenmatte Lackierung mein "feel good"-Sieger. Erfreulich auch, dass sie nur ca. die Hälfte meines Budgets in Anspruch genommen hat. Weiteres Plus: eine erstklassige Tasche, mit cooler Optik und hervorragendem Schutzfaktor. Noch ein Wort zu Musicstore: danke! Zuhause ausgepackt ist mir ein kleiner Verarbeitungsfehler aufgefallen. Ein Anruf und der Ersatz wurde zurück gelegt. Bei Abholung hat der Service noch Bünde und Entgratung geprüft, alles getestet und eingestellt. Besser gehts nicht!

spiele selbst schon sehr lange Gitarre und Bass, habe diese Gitarre für meine 10 jährige Tochter als Geschenk gekauft, und sie ist nicht nur optisch ein echter Hingucker…nein , sie ist auch vom Sound her ein echter Hinhörer….und durch die Form der Gaucho-Gitarre ist es auch für etwas kleinere Personen einfach an die Saiten zu kommen…. generell ist diese Gitarre auch sehr gut verarbeitet trotz ihrer Herstellungsherkunft. Auch der Gitarrenlehrer meiner Tochter war sehr überrascht von der Qualität dieser Gitarre und deren Preis. Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn, echt eine Kaufempfehlung wert, und ich lasse sehr sehr selten Bewertungen.

Eine Konzertgitarre nach meinem Geschmack. Ich habe vor vielen, vielen Jahren auf einer Konzertgitarre begonnen Gitarre zu lernen. Bin aber im laufe der Zeit dann auf E-Gitarre und Westerngitarre umgestiegen und auch dabei geblieben. Jetzt wollte ich, für Spanisch angehauchte Songs wieder eine Konzertgitarre und habe mich entschieden diese zu testen. Die Griffbrettbreite von 48mm kommt mir sehr entgegen, da ich ja eher ein schmäleres Griffbrett gewohnt bin und der Hals ist nicht so dick wie bei anderen Konzertgitarren. Meine Finger fliegen förmlich über Saiten, da diese Gitarre so ein angenehmes Spielgefühl vermittelt. Die Oktavenreinheit ist perfekt. Am 12 Bund der Haargenau gleiche Ton, wie bei der Leersaite. Die Saitenlage für eine Konzertgitarre sehr gut und relativ flach, was ich eben von Westerngitarren gewöhnt bin. Zusätzlich gibt es einen Halsstab, mit dem man noch die Saitenlage korrigieren kann. Der Klang ist Voluminös und angenehm warm. Für meinen Geschmack könnten die Höhen etwas kräftiger und brillianter sein, was sich aber durch neue Saiten verändern lässt. Das Aussehen ist natürlich Geschmackssache. Der mitgelieferte Gigbag von Ortega ist gut gepolstert und sieht auch gut aus. Für diesen Preis, ist das eine hervorragende Gitarre, die Umsteigern wie ich es bin, das Spielen auf einer Konzertgitarre sehr erleichtert und viel Freude bereitet .Erich

Die Gitarre lässt sich wunderbar spielen, angenehm weich, schön auch in den oberen Lagen, der Korpus mit der angeschrägten Unterarmauflage ist eine Wohltat. Mit Verstärker kann man allerhand "rausholen", die Tonabnehmer sind perfekt eingestellt, das integrierte Stimmgerät eine gute Idee (bei Nutzung ist automatisch die Verbindung der Mics unterbrochen). Allerdings hatte ich mir vom rein akustischen Klang (ohne Verstärker) mehr erwartet , das liegt vielleicht an den etwas zu "dünnen" Savarez Saiten, ich werde mal andere, härtere aufziehen, um einen volleren Klang zu bekommen. Preis-Leitungs-Verhältnis ist aber defnitiv super, ich bin begeistert, da ich die Git hauptsächlich mit Verstärker nutzen werde.Michael
Guitare magnifique esthétiquement, extrêmement juste et stable, mais sa conception finalement assez proche d'une folk (pan coupé et vernis epoxy épais) donne assez peu de projection, surtout dans les aigus. Après avoir installé des cordes en tension super forte ultra hardcore ++ (Knobloch actives 600ADC) j'ai enfin un volume sonore satisfaisant mais ça pique un peu mes doigts de débutant ^^. C'est la guitare classique parfaite pour ceux qui viennent de la folk (surtout que le manche a une largeur intermédiaire entre une classique et une folk). En conclusion une guitare avec un rapport qualité/prix excellent, esthétiquement sublime, et probablement beaucoup plus résistante et stable qu'une classique "traditionnelle", mais qui nécessite un jeu de corde en tension forte pour s'exprimer pleinement.

The instruments acoustic is ok but quality control is horrible. The guitar is a six string but the bridge has 12 holes, were they misplaced the strings in an uneven manner. The electronics doesn't work, installed to the amp and nothing comes out, change the battery without luck, had to change the strings because the 5th was broken and there's wiped glue on the top ,they didn't care to clean it up.Roberto
