Reviews:
This amp is truly one of the classics! I have been using a JC-120 since the 80's! It is a very musical amp and good for any type of music. That is a statement of why is has been around for a very long time. I have read some of the other reviews about how noisy this amp can be. This is true but get a noise gate or use the othe rchannel that is without the chorus. For people who love heavy metal two words Boss Wazsa Ds-1 X and OD-1X will get you that Marshal Sound. For Blues players Sd-1X , OD-1X or Boss driver 2. This amp is designed to be used with effects and that is what makes it so versatile.Hank
Words are pretty meek in describing this amp. The best clean sound anywhere. Huge tonal presence bass is gigantic but not boomy just powerful and clear and that's with all tone controls at 12 noon. There's so much room to tweak. And then the chorus channel un-real sound of acoustic chorus. It's a trademark sound instantly recognized. No pedal can give you this chorus sound. It's a tank super build quality has not changed since the 80's and at 75 lbs you can't just grab and go but comes with casters thank goodness. I have used it with overdrive guitar a few times and it sounded unlike any other amp. It's not at all your British scooped sound. But the clean sound is why I bought this. And it is LOUD!Petros Voutsanesis
The Roland JC 120 has one of the best clean tones I have ever heard from an amp. It sounds amazing with the built in chorus effect engaged along with reverb. One thing to know about this amp is that it is designed to be used at higher volumes. That makes it ideal for live gigs. The amp has a slight hissing sound that can be heard when it is used at bedroom-appropriate volume. However, the hissing sound is not as noticeable in louder environments like live shows. I would recommend the Roland JC 120 to musicians who are looking for an amp with a fantastic clean tone to play at gig ready volume.Pari Dark

Reviews:
This is the amp and tone I have been in search of. It has plenty of gain for metal and the EQ dials in nicely. The clean channel is excellent as well. You will not find a better amp for the price, what a killer value! You could potentially spend a lot of money on an amp of this caliber, but probably won't get any better tone quality for spending lot's of extra $! It has all the knobs, bell's and whistles that you'll ever need, including a four button footswitch; clean, crunch, lead and FX/boost. There are some bad reviews on Bugera amps like when an expelled tube blows a fuse and someone thinks that it deems It a piece of junk. I'm glad I read between the lines when reading reviews!tonyhough64ss
Be prepared this amp is bulky heavy but sounds beautiful. The clean channel crisp clear. The crunchy gain is FLIPPIN CRAZY great tone. And for the lead channel well its the same depending on how you have your settings. All IN All i am very pleased with this amp and it can only get better with tube modifications. so if you want to blow the doors off of your house then this is the amp!dmenezes99

If you want Orange tone and don’t have a huge budget then this is the fella you want. Loud and just sounds incredible for a solid state. Good weight, confident using on stage that won’t get pushed off your cab ect … would recommend as cannot find anything to not like about this beastReviewed by Andertons Music Co.
Excellent. Great amp with nice Chimey cleans and fantastic overdrive. Classic British rock tone. Hard to believe it's a Solid State. Has a lot of the characteristics of a Tube amp. No bells or whistles, digital modelling etc. Just a good old fashioned 2 channel amp that sounds an looks great 👍🏻Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
Great sounding amp, sparkling cleans and dirty sounds like a valve amp. I have a Bassman 59 and you can get overdriven tones without having it at meltdown volumes unlike the Bassman. Dont get me wrong you cant get the glassy valve feel of the Bassman but the driven sound is unlike any other amp Ive heard for the money so Im well pleased.saxomanblues

There’s a ton of reviews on this so I’m just gonna hit the highlights.
1. Gain: some say it’s not enough gain. This is simply not the case. Have you ever looked at a Randall and thought, “I bet that doesn’t have much gain.” No, of course you haven’t. There’s plenty of gain and this amp LOVES hot pickups. The gain is tight, clear, and forceful. It booms like a Diavlo, I know from playing both side by side in my studio. Easy to dial in and easy to tailor to any guitar or cab, especially with the Contour knob. But, it’s always best to use a better quality cab. Even though it has some years on it, the tone totally fits in with modern metal sounds but is capable of taking you back in time as well.
2. Clean: the clean is quite beautiful. The response of the controls is very apparent on this channel. Maybe doesn’t work quite as well for country but a superior jazz tone is certainly achievable. If you like working with dynamic range, a-la old Opeth, you’ll definitely appreciate having this comforting of a clean channel to compliment the gain side. One caveat: the volumes can be deceiving, if not a little unbalanced. The clean side can get much louder than the OD side. But there’s a master volume so you can set the two evenly and control it all from there.
Other than that, it’s very solidly built, looks great and is easy to use with its simplistic aesthetic, and will stand up against many tube amps. For the price, it’s kind of a no-brainer. I’ve owned one for years so, reliability is not in question. Been playing for 30 years, lots of shows, and lots of experience with gear. This amp sounds amazing and is just fun to use. There’s still a few out there so, look for a good price and go for it!Luke Offield

I got the half stack in yesterday and here is how I feel so far. The amp sounds really solid in tone and thats with any channel your on. The distortion is actually not that bad but depending on your style of music can define your opinion. If your a metal guitarist of any sort (unless your a metallica cover guy) then I would definitely recommend a distortion pedal or whatever you want to run to the rig. I also want to add even though you get the 4 50 watt jaguar speakers you are not going to have Dimes sound. I see that a lot people expect that they will get the tone because they have a Randall lol thats not the case. Now I can say this you can achieve lots of your favorite artists tone with factory settings but build your own rig and you'll get dimes sounds or whoever your looking for. Overall great amp, good power, and a really good price! The reason I would give it 4.5 stars is because it doesnt NOT come with speaker cable. Which at the same time is fine but would me nice to be able to play right when it comes in. Keep rocking!
I bought this half stack because of it's low price and the fact that Randall is what Dimebag played and he always told a story about how he won his first half stack, so I figured maybe it was cheap like this one. Anyway, I order it. it being my first half stack and all, I wait and wait until it finally comes. I pull the amp head out of the box, then I pull the cabinet out of the box. Immediately something is grabbing me as wrong. There's no cable to connect from the amp head to the cabinet. Maybe this is common sense, but I didn't know. So I messaged Musicians Friend, explained the situation and they picked one out for me and ordered it. I finally received it yesterday. After finally hooking everything up and setting everything up, I flip the switch on. The power comes on. That's it. No sound. Nothing. I try the speaker cable in the other port. Nothing. I flip the switch on the back. Nothing. I try 4 different guitar cables. Nothing. I try turning knobs, pressing buttons, all for nothing. Never got a PEEP out of it.I still don't know what's wrong.Machete

Reviews:
I have been playing guitar for 25 years, and my genre stretches from hardcore metal in drop tunings to smooth clean blues riffs. I was running a Mesa Boogie Mark V35 combo for the versatility but that was a little too much amp to practice on, or be comfortable dragging around from house to house. I still needed something loud with punch to practice with at reasonable volumes when necessary. I looked at other competitive amp modelers on the market, however they didn't work for me due to software issues. I bought the smaller version of this and immediately stepped up to the bigger one because it was too good!! I was able to plug and play immediately and access all features WITHOUT a laptop, tablet or phone, although these can help, the built in interface on the front of the amp is intuitive enough to let me access and program all of my amps, effects and parameters without any extra gear. I love the fact if I'm doing acoustic sets, the full range speaker shimmers, however, classic speaker mode sounds no different than my Mesa did! I find myself going to this amp more frequently and playing more due to not having to mess with tubes warming up, pedalboards etc. The wireless feature on the upper models makes grabbing and playing even less of a hassle and the XLR outs make recording a breeze. I could not ask for a better amp, especially at the price point. Save your tubes for the gigs and get this amp. I have not felt any limitation to my sound at all which I was initially worried about. Don't forget to pick up the foot controller as well!Andrew
I’ve had an earlier model, not sure the name but I was like, okay I recognize this I’ll just get a newer model & boy was I amazed when I received this amp. It controls the feedback real well so when you’re not playing it’s quiet then all the setting are to die for, there’s some generic one then they get nicer then there’s some based off of actual songs which I caught a couple. I definitely would recommend this amplifier to anyone getting into electric guitars especially with the ams payment plan for bad to good credit.Ghost Tha Reaper
7. Peavey Invective.120 Guitar Amp Head
Product Details:
The first high-gain amplifier to deliver pristine cleans, the peavey invective.120 starts with the no-compromise high-gain performance of the legendary peavey 6505 series, then adds a level of versatility that is unprecedented in an amp within this class. designed in collaboration with misha mansoor of periphery, the invective.120 features three channels which each deliver a distinctive sonic-range, as well as a long list of controls which allow you to dial in that perfect tone. use the included footswitch to quickly switch from one tone to the next, from the most extreme high gain metal, to a flawless classic rock tone, to a deep clean jazz tone – its all there, and everything in-between! a tube amp only sounds as good as whats inside, and peaveys invective.120 delivers with four matched jj6l6gc output tubes with top-loaded bias test points and adjustment. the rear panel features paralleled speaker outputs with impedance selector, an msdi-xlr direct output with level/tone/ground lift, midi out/thru, and midi footswitch input. the included footswitch has nine presets to further help the player achieve their desired tone. two remote switchable effects loops, half-power switch, and two 9vdc/ 500ma auxiliary power jacks for effects pedals complete the rear panel.on the front panel, players will find even more options and advanced control. the invective.120 head has a single input with three key remote switchable channels (clean/crunch/lead), giving you a sonic palette that lets your imagination run wild. both the lead and crunch channels have independent pre and post gain controls as well as shared low/mid/high eq, in line with the revered peavey 6505 head. they also feature a shared switchable front end boost fast attack input noise gate with a threshold for complete control over muting. the standby and power switches with blue jeweled pilot light indicate when the amp is ready. just adjust the master resonance, presence and volume knobs, and its ready to rock.
Reviews:
First of all, this came shipped with 5 levels of protection (Andertons box, insulation, Peavey warehouse box, invective box, insulation). Therefore it could have survived an explosion, thumbs up to Andertons! That said, this head is simply wonderful. Materials and construction are high standard and looks are clean and aggressive. No Christmas-style-ubiquitous LEDs, but a slight blue glow which blends with red valves and white panels. Speaking about the sound, this has a slightly high bass output at standard settings and could be tweaked a little. When correctly matched with pickups output and cabinet it produces a marvelous clean sound, very dynamic and warm. Lead channel is simply astonishing: gain is dense and controlled, tight and boost functions work well together and give high gain leads and well articulated notes as well. The noise gate is a nice touch. I will explore the various functions (recording via usb directly from the invective, and so on) over time, but I’m very satisfied overall. Volume output is huge and for room plays I set it under the first point of the scale…but i get high dynamics as well! This is seriously one of the best heads available for metal and progressive, with djenty touches and experimental features (same sounds as the Invective.120, but with a more “socially acceptable” volume output). I’d have liked a better footswitch from peavey instead of the cheap plastic one included, but I will eventually recase it.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
This amplifier is amazing for metal players. The inclusion of a very-effective noise gate makes this head completely perfect for live and recording situations. I have always used the Boss NS2 in front of all my amps, but the noise gate in this head works easily as well. If you have quick stop/start songs, this thing will track. The distortion channel on this head is the 5150/6505, so you will get the legendary 5150/6505 sound. The clean channel is a TON better than the 5150/6505, however. The cleans are creamy and not brittle at all. You will really enjoy all channels on this amp, as the cleans blow the 5150/6505 away. There are two effects loops that work independently, or in concert. If you use a lot of effects, this head is destined to be your favorite. I am not a big effects user, so it doesn't mean a lot to me, but the loops are clean, independent, and controllable via the foot switch. I can say, without hesitation, that this head is the best Peavey has ever made. Full stop.TheTerrorBeyond
Overall: The Peavey Invective 120 is the best sounding high gain amp I have EVER played…and after 22 years I've tried many. A big thanks to Misha Mansoor and Peavey as well as zZounds. The lineage is apparent in this amp. What else is apparent is the time and energy Misha and Peavey put into refining this product. The lead channel…oh the lead channel. Downright sinister. Modern aggression that is completely unrivaled. The Invective puts all other high gain amps in their place. It's simply meaner, more modern and has more harmonic content and responsiveness through the entire frequency range than other amps. Lead and Rhythm channels sit excellently in even the most dense mix. Bear in mind im hitting my favorite parts of this amp…it can so much more than metal. And the clean channel is absolutely beautiful. Lots of clarity and fatness. Two things that can often be hard to achieve on a clean channel. The gate…perfection. The boosts (technically there are 3 different kinds)…perfection. And with the dual effects loops and 9v power on the back panel as well as the a foot switch that really does do it all. The Invective is the all in one solution…its so beautifully engineered. Plug your effects in the loop(s). Done deal. And it's midi controlled. So streamlined. And the best part…the Invective sound is MASSIVE. This is the new benchmark in high gain. Period.Keola

10. Peavey 6505 Ii 120w Tube Guitar Amp Head Black
Product Details:
To mark the 30th anniversary of one of the best and most imitated amps of all time, an amp that literally helped create an entire genre of music, peavey is proud to launch the reissued 6505 1992 original and 6505 ii. contrary to much folklore since the amplifier’s inception, the recipe has remained virtually unchanged. however, over the course of time, component suppliers have experienced changes of ownership and changes to their manufacturing processes, things which can ultimately influence tone and unit-to-unit consistency. in particular, one of the most important items: the output transformer. the changes over the years resulted in a midrange that varied from amp to amp, so the purists here at peavey decided to search for a solution. thatled us to develop a top-secret output transformer, made in an undisclosed location to mimic the magical crushing tone of the original series. these reissues are true to form cosmetically and sonically, going as far as returning to the plexiglass on the front of the 6505 ii. often imitated, our competitors have gone to great lengths to duplicate our success, but none are closer to the original than these. peavey is proud to reissue the legendary amplifiers, the 6505 series.

This is a really neat little amp that has more than enough gain to be usable for modern metal tones right out of the box. To get it sounding exactly how I want, I needed to put an overdrive/boost into the front (Boss SD1 sounds great to me), and use a noisegate. But that's pretty much expected of most amps to get tight modern tone. Overall, I am very happy with this amp.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
11. Bugera 6262 Infinium Ultimate Rock Tone 2-Channel Guitar Tube Amp Head
Product Details:
The bugera 6262 infinium ultimate rock tone 120w 2-channel tube amplifier head are built on the same fundamentals as the 6260 but more midrange, making them perfect for 80's rock and metal. you also get fully independent control of eq, presence and reverb on both channels. ultimate tone mastery a lot of amp manufacturers call their treble/mid/bass knobs "tone" controls. treble really screams; mid puts you about six rows into the audience; low can add more growl than an angry kodiak bear. the presence control is tailored to smooth out your tone or add enough bite to cut through any cymbal. it can bring new life to darker sounding instruments. infinium tube life multiplier technology the revolutionary infinium tube life multiplier technology is like having your very own technician inside your amp constantly monitoring and tweaking tube performance for the ultimate in tonal integrity and reliability. this revolutionary circuit not only optimizes the performance of each output tube, it dynamically balances the drive between them to more evenly distribute the load. with infinium, your tubes last up to 20 times longer, saving you substantial money over the lifespan of your amplifier. infinium also compensates for the effects of aging, automatically adjusting current levels to keep your tubes sounding as good as the day they were installed. if and when a tube does reach the end of its life, the system even tells you which one to replace. all you need do is replace the faulty tube and let infinium take care of the rest for you. this all adds up to more consistent sound quality and longer life for your tubes. maintenance for tube amps has never been this easy.

Bought one used a week ago. Great sound and loud. Changeg to JJ tubes WoW!! A whole different amp. Love the head.Anthony Frank

Reviews:
I picked up this head recently and was very surprised with it actually. I own a Mesa Dual Rec, Orange Rockerverb, and a Vox AC50 and they all do their own things very well. I was looking for a reasonably priced backup head with 3 channels and gave the Laney a try. First off, you need to run any tube head through a good cabinet w/good speakers/drivers (Marshall 1960AV, Mesa, Orange, etc…). With that out of the way, this head is extremely versatile. The clean channel shines with lots of headroom. Although it shares the same EQ as the rhythm channel, I didn't have any issues dialing in both (use the tone knob on the guitar if needed as well). The rhythm channel can go from AC/DC to Stoner Rock to Deep thick metal. The lead channel can do all of the above as well, but really shines for newer metal, dropped tunings, and metal core. Or if you're more of a hard/heavy rock player, then it can serve solely for leads (cuts through really well). The pre-boost is okay, but I don't recommend going above 3 or 4 on it max (use an OD pedal if you want more). Where the amp really impressed me is with the dynamics, tone, and watts functions. All three are critical in shaping the sound you want to hear. If you change the settings on your EQs, you must change the DTW settings as well. The amps sounds best at full wattage, but still sounds great with the channel volumes set low. However, as with any tube amp, it really shines at full wattage and when you push the channel volumes past 4 (11 o'clock). Lastly, in terms of the footswitch…it's easy to use. The clean and rhythm share the same button, but when it's green it's clean, when it's not green it's rhythm. Yes, I'd prefer a separate button, but even the village idiot can figure out how to work the pedal.esoteric383
Overall: I bought this back in March, thanks to the play as you pay plan I had it in my hands in 3 days. I played with the settings for a few weeks and finally dialed in a sound that I love. This is my first tube amp, and what I fell in love with about this thing is that it lets the character of each guitar you play shine through. All my guitars have EMG's in them, but there are different wood combinations, and you can really tell a difference between the guitars when I switch them back and forth. The clarity and punch this thing has is AWESOME. Tons of gain on tap. So many features that actually work and shape your tone. I am 100% happy with my purchase and when my friends listen to my guitar tracks, I make sure to tell them that my tone is from the Laney Ironheart. This thing is a BEAST for the price. You can't beat it.Brad
I bought this as a 2nd from AMS and the grill was only bent a little, which I fixed easily. I had thee highest of hopes for this AMP and although it does have a lot of features I found my self going back to my old Egnater Vengeance as I found this AMP to be a treble monster that now matter what guitar or setting I used the treble was always too much for my tastes. I wanted the KillSwitch tone, but that was not happening for me. This is just my personal taste and to me the clean channel was not very clear or chimy at all.In the end I ended up totally modding the amp out to match Adam of Killswitch and its just not my cup of tea. I just bought a new 5150 MK11 50W EVH AMP and to me that blows this away for metal…There is nothing wrong with this amp and many of my friends really like it, but to me its a treble monster like I said. 13. Peavey Invective 120 Misha Mansoor Signature 120-Watt Guitar Head
Product Details:
Here is my invective 120. never gigged. yes, it djents and does more! great all around amp. has wonderful cleans, classic mid gain, and face melting high gain. i've never heard such an amp have so much authority and cut but be able to switch on a dime to another style. the onboard gate works awesome and does not take away from your tone or feel, and the added onboard "overdrive" pedal just adds to extra gain staging for higher in between gain between channels. the app is an awesome condition, although i did forget to take a snapshot of the foot pedal it's in the same condition. let me know if you have any more questions. cab is not included in purchase.

As an owner of both the Fender Acoustic 200 and the TC Helicon Voicelive Play Acoustic, I can tell you that this unit sounds better, avoids the unnecessary clutter of using a traditional acoustic amp with a footpedal, and is everything you could ask for in terms of an acoustic singer-songwriter set up. On the vocal side: the harmonies are spot on, sound super authentic and non-robotic, and the reverb and effects are superb. On the guitar side: seriously enhances the sound of your acoustic instrument and the effects and reverb are top notch. Couldn't be more enthusiastic about this amp!! Buy it!!!Osage
I have a Fishman SA220, and a Bose L1, with subwoofer and Tonematch. I can tell you this amplifier is a lot of fun. I've never really fooled with loopers and harmonies. This makes it simple, even for an old man. This is on par with the other systems I have. Only it seems crisper to my ears. Plenty of power, great tone, and effects I'll actually use. Not sure about longevity yet, only time will tell. So far I love it.Mark
The weight of the Singer Pro is the main negative point, so much so, I've had to buy an additional lighter amplifier (a Roland Chorus AC40) for busking which was under half the Singer Pro price and about one third of the weight. The sound of this twin-speaker AC40 amp was at least as good as the Singer Pro. Sadly, the AC40 has been phased out. Singer Pro weight around 15Kg and AC40 5Kg. To be fair, the Singer Pro has a Loop function and a Harmony funtion (both of which I haven't used). Audio Output seems very similar volume. Interestingly the Chorus effect on the Roland AC40 feels more effective and its manual says the Chorus is fed to one speaker with the raw ouput diverted to the other speaker. The manual says this allows mixing of sound outside of the amplifier. I agree. BUT both Boss/Roland . amplifiers are truly excellent but the AC40 has become my favourite. One last thing; the Singer Pro comes with a plastic footswitch …not mentioned so I bought an additional one.

Seriously an amp that can handle everything I throw at it…. Metal, Funk, Improvisational, Rock, Punk, Blues, Jazz…. this thing is a perfect tool for a studio stage bassist. I know a lot of people are gonna flame me for saying this, but this guitar amp replaces over five times the price of bass rack gear. Try it and you'll see…… This amplifier is amazing. I have seen the Line6 products around for awhile and finally heard one up close thru a guitarist I used to jam with and was really impressed. I checked out one of their bass rigs since I am a bassist and honestly, the thing was nice but when I decided on a whim to check out the Spider iv (mainly due to the multi effects) I was totally floored. This thing is incredibly versatile. I can adjust the eq to a perfect range for my 4 and 5 string to achieve an epic tone that I swear by. Mix that with the fact that it is loud as hell and can handle any venue that I have to play (and then some), portable, and has waaaaaay more features than I can use. Solid construction, it is my first run with an open back enclosure and it is a different tone BUT it still sounds awesome… This amp does more than my last rack set up and that thing set me back 3x as much.WC Salberg
I am an "old school" lover of classic tube amps. I play mostly acoustic shows now, but still like to jam and play electric from time to time. I was torn between getting a low-watt inexpensive tube amp or getting something a bit more powerful and versatile. I decided to purchase the Spider IV 120 stereo amp after experimenting extensively with a friend's similar amp on loan for over a month. In terms of sound, the amp has excellent warmth and touch sensitivity. The "break up" is smooth and authentic. In all, it convincingly captures the subtle nuances of classic tube sound, and I'm hard-pressed to tell the difference in some cases. Would I go so far to say that it's better than a good tube amp? Probably not, but there are many advantages. For one, the Spider IV amp is versatile and provides quite a sonic pallete for creative work. It also isn't as physically delicate and sensitive. Can't beat the price, either. I have a love-hate relationship with the myriads of presets. On one hand, one can find something useful to tweak every now and then. On the other hand, there's just too many presets to wade through. Simplicity is better. In the past, I've owned a pre-CBS Fender Bandmaster, Twin Reverb, Music Man HD130, Vox AC30 and, yes, a Marshall half stack. Over the years, amps have all come and gone. I'd love to have them all again, but can't. I've recently had stints with a Vox AC15VR and Vox Valvetronix. Liked them both. But, in the end, the fullness of sound (stereo) and surprising warmth of the Line 6 Spider IV 120 has captured my heart for the moment. Nothing like having the history of sound in rock and roll at your fingertips for a reasonable price. If you're a purist and have the money, go out and buy an expensive tube amp and claim superiority. Otherwise, leave me alone as I crawl reluctantly out of the past and try to stand on digital legs.Profdave
I've owned this amp for a few months now. It's a great versatile amp. But I've found that its definitely geared more towards players who want a high gain sound. The overdrive/ blues-y sounding channels are alright, but the high gain tones are actually not bad at all. RECOMMENDATION: If you're going to be using the high gain sounds, buy an overdrive pedal like a Maxon OD808, Ibanez Tubescreamer, Boss SD1, etc to boost the amp. The low end is a little flubby and using an overdrive pedal will help the amp out tremendously. It also doesn't sound half bad for some home recording. And you can definitely gig this. Its got plenty of volume.JTallica1995

Wow! After playing guitar for almost twenty years I started to believe the tone in my head was something that was more imagination than actual possibility, but here I am. The lead channel on the Savage 120 Mk ii is PERFECT! It has lightning fast tracking, crystal clear note separation, loads of gain, massive bottom, is tighter than most amps WITH an OD in front and is saturated in all the right places. This is exactly what I've been after my entire guitar-playing life. The clean is also extremely good and more versatile than most dedicated clean amps. The crunch is brilliant. From a pushed clean all the way to the brown sound in one channel! Crunch 2 is kind of a hot rod 800 channel, German Style. There are a crazy amount of tone sculpting options that will take some adjustment, but once you get used to it, it provides you near-limitless sonic possibilities. An absolute 11/10 for me.Metal
This thing has taken over my entire stack of amps. My 5150, 6505+ and dual rec have done nothing but collect dust since the first time I flipped the switches on it. The Savage MKII truly needs no pedals in-front of it to get any tone you could want from beautiful cleans to punchy tight metalcore rhythms and silky smooth buttery leads. There is quite the learning curve with 4 channels and more settings than you would think are needed, but they all serve a purpose. Wish it would have came with a foot switch at the price point.Z

Fantastic amp for the price! The clean channel is great, and has time delay effects that is unexpected for an amp in this range. The overdrive is excellent too, and you can control different frequencies as well. It also has two inputs for guitars, and a microphone input! So you can jam with friends and sing along. At 40w output, it is pretty loud. If you are in the fence, get it! You won't regret it!integrationbyparths1
