NOV. 3-11: ERASURE’S ANDY BELL ON A SHORT SOLO TOUR
Nov 2, 2005 2:58 PM
The dance floor king Andy Bell is coming to the U.S. to support his solo debut album Electric Blue, with DJ sets in selected cities. These gigs are non-performance, except for LA benefit concert where he will perform a few songs from Electric Blue as well as a few Erasure classics.
With a flamboyant gravity-defying voice, Andy's Electric Blue features 14 brand new tracks, including a duet with Jake Shears (Scissor Sisters), and encompasses that same eccentric, charismatic and delightful aura that Bell is known and loved for. The album was co-written and recorded throughout 2004 and 2005 with Manhattan Clique (Philip Larsen & Chris Smith) who have previously worked with Erasure, Moby, The B-52's, Stereophonics and Goldfrapp.
