ANDREW DUKE CONSUMER VS. USER REMIX CONTEST
Jun 28, 2006 5:51 PM
Andrew Duke's Consumer vs. User album is out now on California's Phthalo (www.phthalo.com). Consumer vs. User is full of juxtapositionrugged, rhythmic and raw yet detailed, open and spacious. It can be thought of as a sister release to Duke's Sprung album, which was released on France’s Bip-Hop and went on to be nominated Album of the Year (Electronica) at the Canadian Independent Music Awards.
To mark this special occasion, Andrew Duke and Phthalo have made available samples from Consumer vs. User for remixing. Download the samples, create your own song from the material and submit your remix by August 31, 2006. The best remixes will be released on Stratagem Musik (www.stratagem-musik.com), and great prizes are also up for grabs, including:
1 copy of Native Instruments Reaktor 5 (grand prize)
1 copy of FXpansion GURU
2 copies of FXpansion DR-008
2 copies of AudioMulch
1 one-year subscription to Computer Music magazine
