iStandard Beast of the Beats II Moves to Touch!

After we close up shop on Sunday, June 29 head over to Touch for the ultimate producer battle. Presented by Roland, Remix, Ableton and IK Multimedia, Beast of the Beats II is set to take place Sunday, June 29 at 5 p.m. (doors open at 4 p.m.) at Touch (240 W. 52nd St., between 8th and Broadway).
The panel of judges for Beast of the Beats II includes Pete Rock (artist; producer for 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes Heavy D, Slick Rick, Das EFX, Big L), Buckwild (multiplatinum producer for Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Big Pun, Nas, Black Rob) and David Lighty (senior VP of A&R for Jive Records). Additonally, last year’s Beast of the Beats Apple Juice Kid will make a special presentation to kick off the festivities.
First-place prize package includes the following:
- Roland Fantom-G6 ($2,899 MSRP)
