The Recording Academy Producers & Engineers Wing presents My Style Studio: A Personal Approach to Mixing and Producing at Remix Hotel Miami 2009.
Featuring Morgan Page and Stryke Chin, this Remix Hotel Miami panel will offer an inside look at personal mixing and producing styles on Thursday, March 26 at 3 p.m. in the Oval Ballroom.
Nettwerk artist Morgan Page has produced remixes for the likes of Angie Stone, Delerium, Stevie Nicks, Nelly Furtado, Madonna, Katy Perry, The B-52s and The Submarines, landing three No. 1 hits on the Billboard Club Charts in 2006.
His current album, Elevate (Nettwerk), features the Grammy Award–nominated track “The Longest Road (Deadmau5 Remix)” for Best Remix. What’s more,Page currently has two IDMA nominations: Best Progressive House Track and Best Breakthrough Artist (Solo). His follow-up to Elevate, Believe, will be out on Nettwerk this summer.
DJ and producer Stryke has collaborated with artists such as Murk, Christian Smith, John Beltran, Santos and Alex Flatner, to name a few. He has put out releases on Ovum, Circle, Hooj Choons, Monoid, Circle, Guidance, Platform, Twisted and many others, as well as held residencies at clubs such as Edge, Warsaw, Maze and Nocturnal.
2008 saw the release of his newest album, The Narrowest of Paths (Plastic City). In addition to new projects and remixes for the likes of Nic Fanciulli and Danny Howells, Stryke is also working on a new EP for Tronic. He recently launched a new label, Three-O-Five Digital, with Oscar G.
Stryke is also a Digidesign product specialist. In addition to his tour dates, Stryke gives clinics and seminars nationwide about his use of the industry-standard Pro Tools platform and its use in his work.
