IK Multimedia T-Racks 3 Master Classes at Remix Hotel Miami

Remix Hotel and IK Multimedia are partnering for another series of T-RackS 3 master classes at Remix Hotel Miami 2009, with special guest engineer Gary Noble (The Fugees, Amy Winehouse, Joss Stone).
Class times are 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 26 and Friday, March 27.
Held in the Oval Ballroom at Remix Hotel Miami, the IK Multimedia T-RackS 3 Master Classes are workshops designed to give musicians the knowledge and tools they need to produce perfectly mixed and mastered recordings, using IK Multimedia T-RackS 3.
Top industry artists, producers and engineers will share their knowledge with Remix Hotel attendees about mixing, mastering and recording, as well as how they utilize T-RackS 3 to produce some of today’s hottest music. In these clinics, Remix Hotel attendees will learn:
• How to set up signal chains for every situation in T-RackS 3,
• How to properly use each module,
• The basics of mastering EQ and compression/limiting.
Attendees will also learn mastering tips and tricks from the industry pros and even get critiques on their demos. Each clinic will be interactive and intimate, providing the chance for musicians to gain insight and knowledge in a relaxed, comfortable and familiar setting.
Previous T-RackS 3 Master Classes have featured famous artists and engineers, including Billy Morrison, bassist for The Cult/guitarist for Camp Freddy; Bobby Owsinski, author of The Mastering Engineer’s Handbook; Mark Vinten, engineer for Lil’ Jon; Mike Rose, producer/songwriter for Kylie Minogue; Gary Noble, engineer for Estelle, The Fugees and Amy Winehouse; and Tedd T., soundtrack producer for Twilight.
