ModernBeats library users now have a chance to show the hip-hop music world what they're made of. All you have to do is submit an original song created using one or more ModernBeats Soundset/Loopset libraries; accepted genres include hip-hop, urban, bounce, crunk, dirty South, R&B and pop (with a hip-hop edge). Entries will be judged on overall sound, originality and production quality. The last day to enter the contest is March 1, 2007. Winners will be posted on the ModernBeats Website.

Grand Prize (1 winner): $1,000
Second-Place Prize (1 winner): $250
Third-Place Prize (1 winner): $100
