JDUB & ABLETON BALKAN BEAT BOX REMIX CONTEST

JDub Records and Ableton Live present the official Balkan Beat Box Remix Contest. Head to www.jdubrecords.org/bbbremix to download a cappella and instrumental tracks for "Digital Monkey" or "Habibi Min Zaman" from BBB's album Nu Med. Use any software to do your magic, but thanks to the good people at Ableton, you can use the company's demo version of Abelton Live by going here: www.ableton.com/demo. Once your smokin' remix is completed, post it to www.balkanbeatbox.imeem.com for judging.
All remixes must be uploaded by May 31. Winners will be chosen by the Balkan Beat Box musical wizards and the staff of JDub Records, the one and only Jewish nonprofit recording label, striving to build community through new and innovative Jewish music and cross-cultural musical dialog. Winners will be notified by June 15.
- Grand Prize: Boxed Copy of Ableton Live 6 ($599 retail value)
- 2nd Place Prize: JDub Records Prize Pack, which includes full music catalog (including BBB cds and vinyl, discs from Golem, SoCalled, etc.) + JDub and BBB T-shirts
