Manifesto: “Six Degrees Records produces and markets accessible, genre-bending records that explore world-music traditions, modern-dance grooves, electronic music and pop gems,” says Bob Duskis, Six Degrees Records co-founder and president. “The label's catchphrase — ‘Everything is closer than you think’ — is a real reflection of Six Degrees' commitment to different styles of music.”

A&R Philosophy: “We are committed to working with quality artists from around the world who produce music of a timeless quality that transcends trends and genre boundaries,” Duskis says. “We do not accept unsolicited demos.”

Upcoming: CéU and Bebel Gilberto have just released albums [titled CéU and Momento, respectively], and both of them will tour,” Duskis says. “Spanish Harlem Orchestra's United We Swing has also been recently released, as well as A Six Degrees Collection — Eden and A Six Degrees Collection — Global Dancefloor.
