A&R Philosophy: According to Siddiq, the label seeks talent and drive from new signings, as well as “a good head on their shoulders.” New artists must be willing to tour. And, yes, Rhymesayers accepts demos.
Upcoming: New releases are on the way from Atmosphere, Blueprint, Brother Ali, Felt (Slug, Murs, Ant) and I Self Devine, and watch out for newcomers P.O.S., Psalm One, Los Nativos and others. Also, Atmosphere and MF Doom will both tour North America this spring.
