Innovators like Bob Moog have made it possible for you to play the music you want to hear. So if you can spare a few bucks, consider returning the favor by donating to the Bob Moog Foundation (www.moogfoundation.org), a nonprofit dedicated to educating people about and preserving the inventor's work. The foundation won't show you pictures of starving children; it will, however, reveal moldy synths, rare keyboards stacked like toast and original schematics rotting away in a warehouse. So when you are overcome with guilt and compassion, reach into your hearts (ahem, pockets) and help save Moog's contribution to music history.
