Dec. 31: Giant Maximus Brings Moby, Oakenfold to the Big Top for New Year's Eve
Dec 22, 2008 3:49 PM
Giant Maximus is returning
to its downtown Los Angeles Francisco Street location for the third consecutive
year for one of the largest American 21-and-over New Year's Eve bashes this
holiday season. As in years past, Giant Maximus is set to feature a standout
roster of nightlife music artists, including Moby, Benna Benassi, Mickey
Avalon, Mark Farina, Destructo, and more, plus a special early performance by
none other than Paul Oakenfold.
It's a great setting for a
New Year's Eve party, as the entire event takes place under European
cirque-style big tops in downtown L.A., with the soaring skyscrapers towering
above. The tents offer a climate-controlled capacity of 10,000 partygoers, and
the "Monster Midway" additionally features high-flying acrobatics,
circus antics, amusements, games, carnival rides, and the iconic Giant Ferris
Wheel. This year the event is presented by KCRW and sponsored by MySpace Music
and Metromix; it'll kick off at 7 p.m. on Dec. 31, and will run until 4 a.m.

Giant Maximus are available now exclusive through www.giantclub.com.
