release of XO Wave 1.0, a CD mastering workstation for Mac OS X that will be
available as both a free edition and a $95 Pro Edition.
XO Wave 1.0, designed for
audio production and post-production, has a wide variety of applications,
including creation of podcasts and vodcasts, multitrack audio production, CD
mastering and sound for film and video. Features include Red Book CD Mastering;
Video Support; Real-Time Crossfades; Unlimited Effects, Tracks, and Undos;
Double-Precision Math; Edit Softening; Offline Operations; and an Interface
intended to be intuitive (say that five times fast).
