Very Special Virtual Instruments From Vienna

The
Vienna Symphonic Library team has announced the release of the new Vienna
Instruments collection Special Keyboards, which is now available from Vienna's worldwide network of
distributors and dealers. The 8 GB collection offers a state-of-the-art
approach to capturing these rare instruments: harpsichord, harmonium and
prepared piano. The Special Keyboards collection ships in the formats VST (OS
X, Win XP), as well as AU (Mac) and also works as a stand-alone instrument.
The
Vienna Instruments integrate intelligent Performance Algorithms with Vienna's easy-to-use VST/AU
plug-in instruments to orchestrate an inconceivably vast array of samples. For
the first time, hundreds of inspiring articulations can be combined in one
Preset and on a single MIDI track. Vienna's proprietary
Performance Detection algorithms analyze intervals, repeated notes, patterns
and even speed in real time, and automatically summon the appropriate
articulation or nuance. The Special Keyboards collection includes the full sets
of samples along with the software instrument, featuring Vienna's exclusive Vienna
Instruments engine.
