Roger Nichols Digital Sells Affordable Uniquel-izer LE Plug-in

Known for its high-end dynamics plug-ins, Roger Nichols Digital (RND) has announced the new Uniquel-izer LE plug-in, a relatively simple and basic EQ theat comes in in RTAS, AU and VST formats for Mac OS X and RTAS and VST versions for Windows XP, for $69.
While there are already a lot of basic EQ's out there--most DAWs include versions--RND wanted to to solve two problems that frequently occur when using those bundled EQ: transferring sessions to other DAWs and upgrading tracks to more complicated EQ plug-ins. With the DAW-bundled EQ plug-ins, you can't use them if, for example, you want to move a session from Cubase to Pro Tools, or from Pro Tools to Digital Performer. With Uniquel-izer LE's plug-in format support, you can use it across any DAW platform. Also, if you start a track using the basic bundled EQs and then realize you need more bands or special filters, you have to start fresh with a different plug-in. But Uniquel-izer LE presets can be opend in the more sophisticated, versatile and professional full version of Uniquel-izer to save time.
