Dec. 18-22: Five Nights of Hip-Hop in Seattle
Dec 12, 2007 4:21 PM
Neumo's in Seattle is the place to be Dec. 18-22 where you can celebrate the best of Northwest hip-hop, courtesy of the Blue Scholars and friends. The Blue Scholars released their album Bayani in June of 2007 (Rawkus/Massline), but have yet to perform their own headlining club show in their hometown Seattle, so in planning a homecoming after touring, the duo, Sabzi and Geologic, decided to take a page out of the Might Mighty Bosstones' book and put on a series of five-night stands, where they headline each night and have their favorite groups from the scene perform. The event is called The Program, and some of this year's artists include Swollen Members, DJ Vitamin D, Grynch, Dyme Def and Ohmega Watts.
