DMC started in 1983 becoming the world's first licensed DJ ONLY record label. DMC also published Mixmag about DJ culture & music. Today DMC publishes the weekly UPDATE.
In 1986 DMC cretaed the yearly World DJ Championship giving birth to Turntablism, which has turned the record player into a usical instrument. Today therre are three annual events - DMC / Technics World DJ Championship, Battle for World Supremeacy & the DJ Teams Championship.
DMC released the Mixmag Live compilation series & continues today releasing the Back to Mine, DMC Presents, Under the Influence, United DJs and Cha pion Sounds series.
DMCWORLD.CO & DJPages.com are the web sites for the world-wide Dance Music Community, the DJs, the labels, the artistes, the producers AND THE FANS!
