BACK FROM THE DEAD
A few years ago, when Electrix decided to call it quits, many thought they were doomed to scour eBay for the company's now-legendary products (the FilterQueen and Repeater, to name a few). But economic turnaround and intense consumer demand convinced the company's original core team that the time was right to relaunch the brand. Effective immediately, the company is back and set to debut a number of new products in the coming months. Head over to www.electrixpro.com.

Stay tuned, as the newly relaunched SoulChampion promises to broaden its scope to cover even more of the garage scene in the U.S. and Canada.
TOTALLY TRICKED-OUT
If traveling from club to club is just too much, take a cue from Brandon Esparza's award-winning Accord DJ2000 and make your ride the venue. The Chicago-based car-mod enthusiast and member of EDI Projektz car club stocked the trunk of his Honda with a full Vestax DJ rig, including two PDX-2000mkII turntables, a PMC-007 mixer and a DA-X1000 power amp. The decks sit at a 45-degree angle (thanks to Vestax's Dynamic Balance Adjustment) until they, and the mixer, are raised by remote control to their full upright mix position — talk about mobile DJing.
