Apr 22, 2008 6:02 PM
Rayzoon has announced that
"BonzoPak"—a sound/style expansion Pak for Jamstix 2—is now
available, consisting of a Ludwig Maple kit with Paiste 2002 cymbals, with head
selection and tuning based on the habits of John Bonham. Sounds of the kit
being played with mallets as well as snare wires off are also included, all
with controllable ambience. The Pak includes 10 new Jamstix styles based on
famous rhythms of the '70s; users can combine styles, drummers and sounds in
many ways within Jamstix 2 to achieve an array of grooves and sounds.
"BonzoPak" was
recorded in a 17-foot-high room for big ambience and includes as many as seven
velocity layers with three alternate hits per layer and five degrees of hi-hat
openness. It can be used with any other Jamstix 2 style, e-drumkits or
traditionally via MIDI by the host. More information on BonzoPak can be found
at www.rayzoon.com/bonzopak.html.
