Feb. 3: Paul & Price Live DJ Set at Studio 39 Gallery, NYC

On Saturday, Feb. 3, London designer Lacy Barry will unveil her autumn/ winter 2007 collection during New York City's Fashion Week. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. for an evening of fashion and cocktails, featuring a live DJ set from Los Angeles producers Paul & Price.
This event will be held in New York City's Studio 39 Gallery, located at 257 W. 39th Street, 10th floor.
In a throwback to Capote's Black and White Ball, the showcase will recapture an atmosphere of interwoven artistic intellect, emphasizing the association between fashion and music. This connection is an element that Barry has always emulated in her designs under the notion that fashion should be an all encompassing experience. It was at the Hotel Costes in Paris that the designer first became aware of Paul & Price, as their music is featured in the renowned hotel's compilation albums, and Barry knew that it was only a matter of time before a collaboration would occur.
The downtempo music of Paul & Price seamlessly integrates itself into the fashion scene, creating a world of style in its own right and this event will be an excellent opportunity to experience this world. The duo will be spinning tracks from Sounds Like Sex 2, set to be released Feb. 13, interlacing sleek and stylish music throughout the collection of equally alluring vetements.
