Oct. 13: Pay Tribute to Bob at Moogfest

Moogfest 2008 is set to
happen on Monday, Oct. 13 at the Hammerstein Grand Ballroom in New York City,
where a big lineup of top Moog users will gather for an evening of
ground-shaking music to honor Bob Moog and commemorate his groundbreaking
achievements.
Moogfest 2008 will feature
Moog Music's transforming new instrument, The Moog Guitar, as well as
performances from Bernie Worrell (P-Funk), Umphrey's McGee, Eric McFadden Trio,
Jamie Shields (The New Deal), Aron Magner (Disco Biscuits) and plenty of
others. Moogfest 2008 also offers an opportunity for artists to play alongside
the world's leading Moog players. Entry submissions should be made by Sept. 10;
artists selected will be compensated an amount to be determined based on draw,
