Novation is now shipping the XioSynth 49 to retailers. The 49-key MIDI control keyboard/audio interface also includes a built-in synthesizer with 200 comtempory dance music patches. A selection top artists, including James Zabiela, Ferry Corsten, Rennie Pilgrem and Roots Manuva programmed 60 of the synth sounds. The package also includes a tutorial DVD to get you started.
XioSynth 49 comes with the brand new X-Gator patch programming facility. This is a 32-step sequencer where varying levels of each step can be set to create rhythmic patterns, without having to rely on an external sequencer. X-Gator, as well all the XioSynth effects, will synchronise automatically to incoming MIDI clock.
As an audio interface, the XioSynth includes an XLR mic input with phantom power and low-latency drivers. It can also stream it's internal synth's audio over its USB connection to a computer. The USB port can also power the hardware with bus power, or an AC adaptor or AA batteries can be used to run the instrument. Check out more details at www.novationmusic.com.
