plane tix deals, and make your way to the Netherlands for this weekend's (Jan.
10-12) annual Noorderslag/Eurosonic Festival. Set for this Thursday through
Saturday in the city of Groningen, the event will feature more than 250 bands
packed into 24 venues (kinda like the Dutch CMJ) over three nights, showcasing
the best new music from Europe. Just a few of the acts on this year's docket
include The Futureheads, The Whip, DJ Adept and DJ Subbacultcha; more
