Mix Tape Riot takes songs you know and love and remixes them by pairing a cappellas with new productions from The BEATards. All night, the BEATards crew uses four turntables to premier live remixes. They will be joined on stage by host Utkarsh Ambudkar of MTV, along with some of New York's hottest downtown musical talent. Mix Tape Riot flows all night—no pauses—in true mixtape fashion. There is no delineation between the live performers and the live remixes, creating a common ground between the new and the established artist.
