Loopmasters Announces New Artist Series of Sample Collections

Jul 20, 2007 3:34 PM

Loopmasters will team up with some of the biggest names in dance music over the next two years to release 20 titles in the Artist Series of sample collections, to be priced at £29.95 each.

Loopmasters has said that sample CDs make it easy to produce music within a whole range of genres, but rarely are they actually made by people who are at the cutting edge of hit making and music production. With the brand new Artist Series, Loopmasters will attempt to make sample collections more professional.

With Artist Series sample collections you will get all of the sounds and tools directly from the musicians. The artists chosen to produce these collections have been chosen for their production know-how, cutting edge sounds or pioneering sprit. The collections will be produced for a variety of dance genres, including house, techno, downbeat, electro, breaks and drum 'n' bass, and only the biggest and best names will be selected to produce them.

The first four Artist Series collections are already in production, the names of the opening title being held off until their scheduled release in late summer 2007. Every sample will be guaranteed copyright free for use in your music.

Each collection will include Acidized Wav Files, Rex2 Loops and Apple Loops. There will be patches for Halion, Kontakt, Reason NNXT, EXS24, SFZ and Stylus RMX compatibility. Each title will have at least 400 MB of original content, 300 MB Rex2 Samples, plus promo material from the Loopmasters Origin Series on each CD taking the total content to above 1GB. Each collection will consist of drum loops, hits and kits, bass loops, bass hits and patches, musical loops, instruments sounds, special effects and vocals.
