Ion Audio Ships iPod PA System; Announces iPod Projector

Jan 8, 2007 7:10 PM

The Ion Audio iPA03 Portable PA System integrates in iPod dock, and it's now shipping. It can roll around on two wheels or be mounted to speaker stands. Besides docking iPod, iPod Mini and iPod Nano models, it also comes with three inputs for a microphone (included), instruments and CD/MP3 players. The inputs all have individual level controls. The iPA03 has a built-in rechargeable battery that lasts for 12 hours at moderate volume or for six hours at full volume, which Ion says will project sound more than 150 feet.

This week Ion Audio also announced its new iProjector, a portable projector that can create images of up to 90 inches wide from a video iPod, DVD player, game console or cable/satellite tuner. The iProjector use LCOS digital technology to deliver 24-bit color, 800 ANSI lumens of brightness and 800 x 600 native resolution. It accepts composite (RCA), S-Video and component video inputs and can also dock and charge an iPod while it plays. Visit Ion Audio to find out more.
