May 13, 2008 1:39 PM

In response to user feedback, EastWest has announced RTAS compatibility for Mac and PC versions of all PLAY products. Current PLAY-powered collections can be upgraded to include RTAS support through a free update posted on the company's Website. The software updates (PLAY v1.0.056) are available for Mac and PC platforms in stand-alone and plug-in versions, with PC updates offered for 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems.

PLAY v1.0.056 gives all users the capability to run every EastWest PLAY-powered collection (Fab Four, Quantum Leap Ministry of Rock, Quantum Leap Gypsy, Quantum Leap Voices of Passion, Quantum Leap Pianos, Quantum Leap SD2-The Next Generation and Quantum Leap Goliath) in all Pro Tools platforms. All installed versions of the PLAY virtual instruments will be automatically upgraded to the latest version of the sample engine.
