Take a Detour to This Upcoming Los Angeles Music Fest
Sep 5, 2007 3:01 PM
LA Weekly and Goldenvoice
are teaming up again to produce the second annual, all-ages, live music fest
set against the backdrop of downtown Los Angeles; specifically, at the
intersection of Main and 1st Streets. Dubbed the LA Weekly Detour Music
Festival, this year's event is now set for Saturday, Oct. 6, and will feature quite
the diverse lineup of artists, as well as an expected audience attendance of
over 15,000 music fans.
The 2007 edition of this
detour to eclectic music will include sets from the likes of Shout Out Louds,
The Raveonettes, Sebastian, Nico Vega, Noisettes, Scissors for Lefty, and both
the Bloc and Satellite Parties.
But you'd better get your
tix fast—they've just gone on sale late last week, and the entire day's
festivities can be attended for $35.50, with a portion of the proceeds going to
benefit Tree People. Tickets can be snagged at www.ticketmaster.com.
