Def Mix Picks Pacha for Party (Say That Three Times Fast)

Mix has chosen NYC club Pacha New York to celebrate its 20th Anniversary party
and will release a triple-disc mixed album commemorating 20 years in
conjunction with the special event. The party is set for Saturday, Oct. 13,
with doors opening at 10 p.m. and advance tix $20.
Def Mix DJs have played at
virtually every hot spot in the world, while the three flagship
DJ/producer/artists have worked in all genres of music over the past 20 years.
Their work has assisted in creating club and street versions of pop radio hits
for such artists as Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Sting, Ice T, Madonna,
Backstreet Boys, Bjork, U2, Gloria Estefan, Seal, Kylie Minogue, Julio,
Iglesias, Shaba Ranks, Maxi Priest, Kelli Ali, Whitney Houston, Eric Clapton,
Enrique Iglesias, Sarah McLachlan and Kelis.
The album, Best of Def Mix, is set to hit stores on
Oct. 22, and will include many of Def Mix Productions' singles and remixes,
including exclusive previously unreleased tracks from the Def Mix camp. This
will be the first time the remix of Mariah Carey's "Heartbreaker" and
U2's "Lemon" have been included on any compilation.
