OCT. 31-NOV. 4: CMJ MUSIC MARATHON PANELS AND PANELISTS

The 26th annual CMJ Music Marathon presents a comprehensive lineup of emerging music-related panels. From Tuesday, Oct. 31 to Saturday, Nov. 4, CMJ Music Marathon in New York City will present more than 100 panels and discussions featuring dozens of high-profile artists, executives, journalists, industry veterans and pop-culture icons debating the state of today's volatile music business and its prospects for the future.
CMJ06 panelists include Chuck D, Janeane Garofalo, George Clinton, Steve Earle, CBGB Founder Hilly Kristal, Don Dokken, Tera Patrick, Tommy Ramone, Insane Clown Posse, Legs McNeil and Gibby Haynes, among others. CMJ Music Marathon will address issues of importance to professionals from all facets of the music businessfrom college radio programmers to label executives, digital music pioneers to indie retailers, music attorneys to metal fans.
CMJ06 panels are anchored at Lincoln Center and at the Tower Records store on the corner of Broadway and West 66th Street. During the day, CMJ Music Marathon features panels and discussions exploring the most pressing issues in today's music industry.
