Cinematic Orchestra are confirmed to play two headline shows in New York City this July. The multipiece band will headline the Central Park Summer Stage for a free show on July 7. The following evening, fans will be treated to an intimate live performance of the band's latest album, Ma Fleur, at Joe's Pub.
July 5th marks the release of the first full studio album by Jason Swinscoe's Cinematic Orchestra since 2002's highly acclaimed Everyday. Entitled Ma Fleur, the record was written as the soundtrack to a specially commissioned screenplay for an imagined film (which may or may not yet be made). The album will be released by Domino Recordings in the North America and Ninja Tune in Europe.
