April 4-6: Three Days of Hip-Hop at Trinity Fest

There will be plenty to
keep you busy at this year's Trinity International Hip Hop Festival in
Hartford, Conn., set to run this year from April 4 through 6. Bakari Kitwana
(author of The Hip Hop Generation) is
set to deliver the keynote address; panel discussions will take place with
Grandmaster Caz, Tony Tone, Grand Wizard Theodore and DJ Disco Wiz; and you'll
be able to take part in workshops on The Art of Rhyme, Beat Making and Graffiti
Writing.
As if that wasn't enough,
attendees will also be treated to a film screening of Remixed in Japan followed by a panel on Asians in hip-hop, and
performances by artists from 15 different countries including Senegal, Canada,
Puerto Rico, Chile, Cape Verde, Portugal, Ethiopia, Ghana, The Philippines,
Zimbabwe and the U.S.
