Manifesto: “BNE/YoYo is purely about electronic music,” says Oren Toft, PR manager. “Until now, the label has signed Israeli artists exclusively. We have such skillful producers in Israel, and we feel obligated to expose them to the rest of the world.We want to perfect the underground, then make it accessible to the masses.”
A&R Philosophy: “We seek artists who are both innovative and motivated,” Toft says. “We look for the ‘spark in the eye’ because you can tell who really wants to make it, folks who won't rest until they reach perfection. We also look for the human factor. We prefer to sign artists, rather than egos. At this point, we are focused on Israeli artists, but who knows, maybe that will change in the future.”
