Manifesto: “We are a hybrid label and management company, and it's almost impossible to distinguish between the two,” Antebi says. “We are all about championing the underdog. At one time or another, Waxploitation has been the home to artists and producers including Ministry's Al Jourgensen, Dust Brothers founder Matt Dike, the Postal Service's Jimmy Tamborello, Tortoise's John McIntyre, Scanner, Butthole Surfers' Paul Leary, King Britt and Josh Wink, to name a few. We have a long-standing tradition with rabble-rousers, visionaries, outsiders and revolutionaries.”

A&R Philosophy: “We seek artists who are intent on shaking things up,” Antebi continues. “We don't accept demos — we prefer to look for things ourselves.”

Upcoming: Watch for the final album by Tha Alkaholiks, Firewater, as well as debut records by DangerDoom (Danger Mouse and MF Doom) and Gnarls Barkley (Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo).
