TUNES FROM THE TRENCHES

The only Americans who really know what it's like right now in Iraq and Afghanistan are the soldiers who have served over there. They also know firsthand the experience of those wounded in these wars. And that is why Operation Inspiration is calling on anyone in the military who also happens to be a musician. Sponsored by Satellite Records, Wicket Recordings, DJ Times magazine and Remix, Operation Inspiration is a benefit compilation to raise awareness and funds for soldiers who have suffered injuries in Iraq and Afghanistan. Proceeds from the compilation, which will feature original tracks by military personnel who are currently serving or have recently served, will benefit the Azalea Charities Aid to Wounded Soldiers project.
If you are eligible and would like your music included on the release, submit a 128kHz MP3 file no larger than 5 MB to operationinspiration@satelliterecords.com by Dec. 31, 2005. (A CD-quality file will be required if your track is selected.) Please include your full name, military branch, rank, dates of service, stage name (if applicable) and track title. If your submission is selected, you will receive a small royalty as well as an album credit. For additional information, visit www.azaleacharities.com.
