Manifesto: “Our philosophy is to release quality music,” Haugland says. “I want the label to be broad and diverse; and at the same time, there is a similar thread going through all the artists and the releases. I want people to get that Smalltown Supersound feeling.”
A&R Philosophy: “Everything depends on my taste in music,” Haugland says. “My taste can change quite often, so actually I don't have any limitations other than that I need to feel that it fits with the label and my taste.”
Upcoming: “Look for new releases from 120 Days, Kim Hiorthøy, Bjørn Torske, Tussle, Arp and Lars Horntveth, as well as a Jaga Jazzist DVD,” Haugland says. “I think 2007 will be an exciting year for us.”
