DOLLARS AND SENSE
Since its inception in 2000, performing rights organization SoundExchange has processed more than 630 million digital music plays (on satellite, Internet and cable radio) and paid out $24 million in royalties. As that number rises, there are still 30,000-plus performers who are owed royalties and have yet to register with SoundExchange. The organ-ization is allegedly the first to pay performers on recordings, not just the songwriters. If you're getting digital plays, you need to register at www.soundexchange.com.
WEBSITE OF THE MONTH
Please raise your hand if, back in the '80s, you wasted hundreds of hours of homework time and millions of precious brain cells playing Mega Man. All of you? Now raise your hand if you thought the game was fun but missing a certain Dr. Curtis Connors as The Lizard element. Again, everyone? Good, because that's exactly what the Chemical Brothers have brought to the Web with Galvanize!, a game now available at www.thechemicalbrothers.com/game/cbg.htm. But the lizard is a DJ, and the hero has to crush blocks to get to him. Try it.

GOOD TOUCH
Maybe it's the upcoming switch to Intel processors, or maybe it's just something in the water, but Apple recently gave a nod to the PC world with the release of its new Mighty Mouse. This new mouse features left and right click zones, 360-degree scrolling and assignable side buttons. The mouse will work with any Mac OS X or Windows 2000/XP machine with a USB 1.1 or 2.0 port; to use the programmable functions, however, you will need a Mac with OS 10.4.2 or later. Mighty Mouse is available right now. Check www.apple.com for more.
