Seeing the need for an outlet for female producers, Tachelle “Shamash” Wilkes started femmixx.com, a site dedicated to lady producers, MCs and DJs. On Femmixx's Lady Beat Makers Vol. 1 DVD (check it out at myspace.com/ladybeatmakersfilm), ladies in the studio give advice about getting in the game.
