Manifesto: “This DJ scene in North America has influenced music scenes across the world, but there aren't enough labels that represent it,” A-Trak says. “That's where Fool's Gold comes in — we can release Jokers of the Scene and Kid Sister side by side.”
A&R Philosophy: “We look for music emerging from new indie hip-hop and electronic scenes,” A-Trak says. “We tend to work with artists we've already hung out with, toured with. However, Fool's Gold is not a closed circle.”
Upcoming: EPs from Congorock and Crookers, the debut single from LA Riots, label showcases at SXSW and WMC, new compilations.
