Manifesto: “To put quality progressive hip-hop from the UK on the map,” says Pavan Mukhi, managing director.

A&R Philosophy: “Raw talent is something we value highly, but we also value the enthusiasm to want to carry on and build on your skills,” Mukhi says, “whether that is as a DJ, rapper or producer. We accept and listen to all demos; we find that is a great way to hear new talent and interact with our listeners. Being approachable and in tune with our fans is something we like to build on and encourage.”

Upcoming: “We're participating in the Culture Urbana Festival Madrid [May 11-12] and the Sonar Festival Barcelona [June 14-16],” Mukhi says. “For records, we have Dr. Syntax's 7-inch ‘She's Quite Some Picture’ with Max Miller, Stig of the Dump's 12-inch ‘Braindead’ feat. R.A. the Rugged Man with Intoxicated and Dr. Syntax's album Self Taught, all coming out in May. Skrein's The Eat Up mixtape comes out in June, and later in 2007 we have a new Metropolis album, a Foreign Beggars mixtape and a Ghost Town album feat. Jehst, Frank n Dank, Dudley Perkins and Kashmere.”
