BIZ, YOU GOT WHAT WE NEE-EED

May 1, 2006 12:00 PM, Lori J. Kennedy

When the new Diabolical Biz Markie doll arrived at the office, Remix staffers were squealing with delight over its new mascot. Biz teamed up with Extended Play to produce the 18-inch doll (depicting Biz circa 1987), with its plastic head and sneakers; removable cap, mic and ring; rubber “booger pickin'” finger; and soft, plushy body. In summary, he is the coolest. When you give Biz's bod a big squeeze, he beatboxes “Uh one-two, uh one-two.” Biz comes packed in a huge mock cereal box (sans cereal), which is a sight to behold. Check out the Nutrition Facts label, where you'll find that the product contains 1,800,000 calories and 1,000-percent bass, 400-percent EQ and 100-percent rhymes for your percent daily values, apparently based on a 2,000-calorie diet. Only 1,000 of these dolls were produced, so you'll have to snatch one up quickly. You can purchase Biz for $69.95 plus shipping from www.bizmarkiedoll.com or www.bufaloclub.com. We love Biz, and we know you will too. Oh, snap!
