Popularly known as EDC, Electric Daisy Carnival is a music festival which takes place in La Vegas, Nevada every year. This music event is one that is famous for promoting electronic dance music and began originally as a warehouse party early in the 1990s.
Featured on this event are all types of electronic dance music, as well as DJs and electronic dance producers. Some of them include Calvin Harris, Kaskade, Hardwell, Armin van Buuren, Zedd, Martin Garrix, Seven Lions, Afrojack, Yellow Claw, Dimitri Vegas, Tiesto, and Alesso. This festival is really famous in the world of electronic dance music and is sponsored by Smirnoff, Uber, and Corona.
While music festivals are known to be profitable, EDC was not established basically because of profit. The primary purpose it was established is to inspire various individuals with the use of music and arts. Electric Daisy Carnival aims to build a connection between various individuals both on the dance floor and off the dance floor.
Although this carnival got started in Las Vegas, Nevada, I has gone beyond the soil of just Las Vegas, Nevada. There have been some EDC events in places out of Las Vegas, Nevada. Some of these places are in the United States. Others are not. Apart from the United States, other countries that have played host to Electric Daisy Carnival are the United Kingdom, Mexico, India, Japan, Puerto Rico, and Brazil.
Although Electric Daisy Carnival began as a single-day event, it has gradually grown to become a three-day event.
