Waiting For a Legend? Well, the Wait's Almost Over
Nov 27, 2007 12:35 PM
John Legend has announced
that the recording of his third album is officially underway and should be out
by late summer or early fall of 2008. Legend plans to work with Pharrell
Williams, Kanye West and a few other as-yet-undecided surprise collaborators.
In the meantime, fans of
Legend's work can check out other tunes he thinks are worthy via his Homeschool
Records label album, which will drop Shine,
the second album from Brit singer Estelle, in February, complete with a John
Legend duet. Future Homeschool releases are being planned for rapper Diggy and
Legend's own younger brother, singer Vaughn Anthony. Some of Homeschool's
musicians will be featured on an upcoming TV One cable network special; look
for "Bailey's Entertainment Presents Get Together With John Legend"
on the air Dec. 16.
