AUG. 4-5: VIRGIN FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES COMPLETE SCHEDULE

The daily lineup has been revealed for the 2007 Virgin Festival by Virgin Mobile scheduled to take place Aug. 4-5 at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore. Organizer Sir Richard Branson had previously announced that headliners The Police and the Smashing Pumpkins will appear, as well as the Beastie Boys.
Now, all the acts have been confirmed and more than 40 artists, ranging from Cheap Trick to Modest Mouse, are on the bill. Tickets for the two-day event go on sale May 5 through Ticketmaster and are $175 for general admission and $450 for VIP. Single-day tickets, if still available, will go on sale May 19 for $97.50 general admission and $250 VIP.
